after years of talking about it online, working on it on and off, discussing it with my friends, creating playlists, and sending drafts to anyone who cared, i am proud to reveal SPRINGFIELD.

for the unaware, the premise is simple: what if the simpsons was an edgy teen drama on the cw that mirrored the likes of riverdale? a horrifying concept to many, but an intriguing one to others. regardless of where you fall, i hope that you’ll read, share, and enjoy SPRINGFIELD.

Do The Task™ ADHD edition:

1. write down the tasks you have to do

2. separate each task into smaller tasks (ex. Clean room- pick up clothes, fold clothes, put clothes away. Pick up shoes, put shoes away. Get trash bin, put trash in trash bin, put trash bin back.”

3. lie to yourself with the “might as well method” tell yourself you only have to do the very first task like “pick up clothes”, now you’re already in a position to fold (or just put away) the clothes, so “might as well do *insert next step to task here*”

4. Continue using the “might as well method” until all tasks are complete

5. Give yourself a reward (candy, watch a show, play a game)

6. Drink water you dehydrated neurodivergent :)

7. seriously, drink water, you’re gonna die

p.s.

i also use small timers on my phone to help with the process going faster, like a game. Ex: “how many shirts can i fold before this timer ends?” or “if i don’t put all my shoes away before this timer ends, i’m gonna die”

How the Alice in Borderland characters dance:

Hatter: Agressive hip circling. Looks like he's playing with an invisible hoolahoop. Drunk uncle at wedding vibes.

Aguni: To everyone's surprise (except for Hatter of course) this man can VOGUE. He's a gay from the 80s people, and he can and will beat you on the dance floor with a straight face on.

Ann: Quiet head bobbing. Stands with her arms crossed just vibing. She did ballet up until college, so once in a while you might catch her twirling on her tippy toes.

Tatta: White man air punch while jumping. Frat boy trademark dance move.

Kuina: My girl can twirk and pop and body roll. She's just vibing and being a sexy goddess. Tried to teach Chishiya, Arisu and Usagi how to shake some ass with varying levels of success.

Last Boss: He flails his arms like one of those gas station inflatable dummies. He makes this weird grunting noises and stomps his feet. Looks oddly feral.

Chishiya: Stiff as a board. He does that weird side step dance thingy. Can waltz pretty neatly tho.

Niragi: White girl dancing. No, I will NOT elaborate.

Usagi: Hops and jumps on the ball of her feet. One drink in and my girl starts breakdancing.

Arisu: He either does the Nanno dance or the Aurora dance. No inbetween.

Karube: Does stuff like the dice roll or the cabbage patch. Can actually body roll pretty well and has a good sense of rhythm. He knows the entire coreography to WAP.

Chota: Hands in the air, dancing like he's in a church choir. Always looks like he's praising Jesus.

Shibuki: White girl dances with Niragi or sexy dances with Kuina.
