I have the headcanon that Katniss’ kids keep bunnies as pets and one day, one of them dies from old age. That evening Katniss serves him up for dinner (food is food) and all hell breaks loose. The kids scream and cry, Peeta desperately tries to calm them down and Haymitch falls off his chair from laughing so hard while Katniss grumbles about how she doesn’t understand what they are on about.

After reading the Epilogue this headcanon is just cemented into my brain. I love her, but Katniss-I-tried-to-drown-my-sisters-cat-Everdeen would be fun to watch as a mother.

So, how's y'all's week so far? I accidentally started a DnD campaign!

Hey Joy, what are each of the fallen children's interests and dislikes?

Oooo good question!! I haven't thought of this yet! But I feel these fit! Interests Alice: Alice was one of those kids like enjoyed slow quiet things, so she always really enjoyed books and also loved going on walks. I'm sure if she had lived longer, she would have loved knitting, sewing or something like that! Toddy: Toddy did box for sport and LOVED IT! Other than that, though he had a habit of wandering around with some of his friends into abandoned buildings and other places he wasn't meant to be. On a more relaxing day... He would have probably been watching TV. He has a soft spot for shows considered "girly." Pax: Pax obviously loved reading, but she loved writing just as much maybe even more! Her favorite books were anything nonfiction. Odile: Odile loved dancing (Who would have guessed) It kind of consumed her whole life so she didn't really have time for much else. Hailey: Of course, loved cooking but also had quite the green thumb! A lot of the food he used for cooking was stuff he had grown himself.

Dislikes Alice: She doesn't really dislike anything. She was a pretty easy-going kid. Though she did dislike anything fast paced as it overwhelmed her easily. She also didn't like sports or anything outside due to her weak immune system. Toddy: Hmm... He was another easy-going kid, but he did hate bullies. Also, he dislikes people saying that "Pinks a girls color," Since it's one of his favorite colors. Pax: If you destroyed a book anywhere near her it was basically a death sentence. Pax hated anything to do with destroying any of the arts being destroyed but especially books. She also thinks people to don't like to read are annoying. Odile: Also dancing. Even though she enjoys it the joy of doing it for fun was taken away a long time ago. Hailey: Picky eaters. He understands people who just don't like a food, but he does NOT like people who see something new and go "Ew I don't want that." Without even giving it a try. Not a dislike really but he doesn't have much a sweet tooth and prefers eating and preparing meals.
