Ermes and Kiss: sticking it to an invisible Sports Maxx! 

Second in a series that started with my painting of Jolyne and Stone Free.

Look at this special girl! Honestly I’ve kinda been in a funk and ive had trouble finding the motivation to draw, but I managed to get through something just through love and dedication!

Gwess is actually one of my favorite side characters, so much so its weird how little attention she gets in Stone Ocean. She has this really well defined personality, and a great design, and it really just seemed like she wasn’t in the story because Jolyne didn’t like her(she doesn’t like Anasui either, but we keep him around...)

So this picture is kinda a what-if scenario, where Emporio recruits Gwess to help out, and she gets excited! Emporio may one day regret this decision, but too bad, hes made friends for life!

Fun picture i did while watching @fortunasua‘s art stream! Tonight was a fun night.

Its fun to think Kiss is literally the best stand, and not just my favorite. That rarely happens but its quite a treat.

Ermes walking out after having another fight with Gloria

My favorite JoJo character right here, I really do love her. This started out as a practice for reflective surfaces and lighting, but weirdly came together as a fun painting about Pre-Stone Ocean Ermes. 

She is taken care of by older sister Gloria, and they make their money with their restaurant. Someone I know kinda has a history similar to Gloria, having to take care her parents instead of going off to college. It says in the manga that the two would argue a lot, since Ermes was working towards a scholarship in track. I imagine Gloria isn’t the type of person to yell, more that she would look disappointed at you until you caved. Ermes is a pretty emotional character too, so it probably worked a lot. Really she probably was torn between losing her sister and taking away her chance. 

Really this whole thing is full of subtle references and details about the character, see if you can collect them all!

Random redraw  from Kiss of Love and Revenge, my absolute favorite arc. I was trying to work out an interesting color palette with this one. I really like how Ermes came out, she looks so cool and powerful!

I also made an extra one that tries matching the blood, but I don’t like it as much. Thats under the cut.

Something I’ve been working on since my post about my Fallout player characters. Since im such a big JoJo fan, I liked the idea of a legacy and basically retroactively made Tiff the daughter of my chosen one. I had roleplayed her as a tribal in the beginning, and I did have that Vault 13 Canteen, so it all works out! I also like having the Village Elder there, represent!

Up top: Dana Wilson. The Vault Dweller of Vault 13. She was a relatively model citizen, so it was a big shock when she left the Vault. She spent her time getting to know the peoples of the Wasteland, and through that understand was able to stop the Master without violence. She also joined the Brotherhood of Steel, and really only used it so she could hold a slightly heavier shotgun! After she was kicked out, she wanted to get away from civilization and ended up founding the tribe at Arroyo.

Left Side: Ella Willa, The Chosen One. She was a strong and charismatic warrior, fighting with her fists mainly. She mainly made a name for herself as the heavyweight champion in Reno, where she got her ear bitten off by the Masticator! Despite being a cheery person, she was super self conscious, and was hurt by every single one of her friends dying. In the end Myron was all she was left with, and he was hardly good company. After the Village was saved, she became an a fun old elder who never lost her spark.

Right Side: Tiff, Courier 6. Like I said she grew up in the newly reformed tribe of Arroyo, but left to become a Courier. She had an talent with maintaining guns, and ended up ingratiating herself with the NCR. She learned from the tribe that everyone has to pull together and do their part, which the NCR kept failing to do. She ended up quite the soldier, mainly using assault rifles and combat knifes.

My Fallout Characters! I was doing a grand replay of all the games for the Atomic Kickstarter, and I ended up really liking all of my characters!(although for Fallout 3 I cheated and played with Tale of Two Wastelands)

Im surprised my never linked to the 3d shorts I made last semester. They are pretty basic, but I had a lot of fun figuring out the most I could do with the least amount of animation.
