on this fine night i am thinking about how jughead was accused of trying to burn down the elementary school simply because he was playing with matches and he had to spend time at juvie bc of it and the reason there was such a reaction was likely just because of where he grew up and who his parents were and nothing about it was fair !!!

jug never meant any offense by anything he wrote after high school, and certainly not towards the serpents. he wasnāt trying to mock or belittle the traditions, the serpents meant everything to jughead and he thought if anything he was making them out to be heroes who should be celebrated. heās crushed to learn thatās not how it came across and heās even more destroyed by the fact that in writing a story inspired by them, itās ruined friendships he cherished.
