metamorphosis

a caterpillar sits upon the branch of a young oak tree waiting for the magic to come little by little snow started to fall cover the fellow with a blanket of white

here it comes, almost here the little caterpillar spoke

my poor dear creature, little did it know

never in its life will it sprout wings and fly
