Augustine Witt

Hello Tumblr!

I hope everyone had a wonderful month. I am here again with my summary breakdown for another monthly character design. I'll like to introduce Augustine Witt.

Honestly, I can't believe i just notice after a whole month that I have spelled my precious baby girl name wrong. It seemed that when I made her sketch image below I added a "h" in her last name Witt. 😅

Coloring her was a challenge since she has so much hair. If you're following me on Twitter you probably have seen a few post that I have posted in frustration. Overall I do love how she came out.

July Character Design: Jullie Bright

Designing July

For July's design it was really quick and there wasn't many thing going on in July beside summertime activities and the 4th of July. Therefore I had to come up with a special design for her. I ended up making her into a Phoenix to represent how hot July gets in the summer. Her outfit is more focused on Independent day of the US. A little more about her and design can be shown in the Tweet below.

Coloring July

Coloring Jullie didn't take too long to colored since I used to cell shading method. The problem was what colors to use for her design. I ended up going with like a lighter brown almost tan complexion for her skin tone. Red for her hair and yellow for her eyes. She's a Phoenix after all gotta represent those fire color schemes.

The rest was easy enough. Just make everything red, white or blue with a little bit of black here and there. Check out the Tweet below to see her color version.

I really love how she came out too and so did my sister. She has been helping with each month's design and color scheme. She's a bit upset with me at the moment because July looks better than her birthday month which is June.

June Monthly Character: Juni Pie

The month of June was not the best month for me. I started off strong and then I unfortunately had to deal with a toxic family member. I was able to finish June's redraw sketch earlier in the month but I was unable to do so for it's colored version.

The Twitter you see below is what I was able to complete this month. I'll update this post if I ever get to finish Juni's background.

Coloring Process

Since this is the first time I colored June's design I was sure to to color her. I for sure wanted her to have two tone hair. Preferably the split color hairstyle. I wanted to give her like cotton candy colored hair to fit her design theme. As a dessert fairy it was a most. Everything else fell into place as I design her new outfit for this year.

Anyway I hope you like her dessert them outfit.

April Character Design

So today is the last day of April and I'm a master at procrastinating and getting distracted. I also tend to forget to post on at least one social account. Tumblr will be that one account I forget. Anyway this will be a short one.

Each month I create a new character design. For April I redrew my Oc Apriya. Check her out.

Redrawing her wasn't too big of a challenge. Creating a new design with only one week left of April was the problem. Fortunately, I was able to finish her last night and post her today. Here's her in full color.

The color version was a bit challenging to finish but I was able to finish it a day before March ended.

Birthday Celebration

Hey everyone. It has been a minute since I posted on here. The 18th of this month was my birthday. I was so busy making art and birthday preparations that I sometimes forget to actually make a post.

Twitter is so quick is easier to post so I got to post on there. Here is a little drawing I drew of my Oc June. I drew her in this cute icon style I discovered.

For my birthday this year I wanted to celebrate with my Pokémon Go Local Community since most of my friends still plays the game. For those who don't play the game anymore, this year Pokémon Go travel back to Hoenn for this year's Pokémon Go Tour. You had a choice between Ruby and Sapphire, so I designed my character party outfit with those colors.

I did draw another digital piece of work for the occasion. Here's another cute drawing I did of Jirachi. Jirachi was the mythical Pokémon available for this year's masterworks. You complete it and get an encounter with a shiny Jirachi.

I also wanted to make birthday favors for my fellow Pokémon Go Peeps. I order custom pins but they didn't arrive in time, so I made homemade magnets instead.

Happy V-Day everyone! I finally finished drawing my Oc Meichi in today's theme. Can you show her some love.

Happy Polka Dot Day!!!

I learned from my mobile game, Disney Magic Kingdom that today January 22, 2023 is National Polka Dot Day. After I learnt this new piece of information I decided to draw Minnie Mouse. I have drew her before for her and Mickey Mouse birthday so I just edited that image and colored.

Then I used that icon design as am example to create my humanoid version of Minnie Mouse. Check out the tweet below to see how it came out.

Printmaking Project- Janna

Good evening All.

I hope everyone had a good day. Today is the last day for the Year of the Tiger, so I wanted to post my printmaking piece I started last year but never finished. Here's a silhouette design of Janna. This was my best print from all the ones I did printed. As you can see under the matrix I used to print from it, I pulled a couple of prints from it. Every print is transfer by hand, so i had trouble hand burnishing each pull before my ink dried on my inking plate.

End of the Year Art Post. Yes I had to go went this Pokémon because it had tree in its name lol. I couldn't decide on a background so I ended up posting two.
