in honor of valentines day here's my lil hc:

on vday, andrew refuses to show any more affection than normal, but leaves neil little gifts all over the dorm (a hoodie on his desk, breakfast ready on the counter, etc.). they're all perfectly wrapped with the corners tucked in. neil, loml, wants to reciprocate, but has no idea or concept of how gifts are supposed to work. cue andrew finding an orange on his desk, a single unlit cigarette in his pocket, and, finally, a container of ice cream wrapped in a bow that has completely melted all over the inside of his car

there's always that one character who's backstory— *screaming, sobbing, glass breaking*

obsessed!! w the idea that the foxes are literally just college students. give me aaron living at the library, class president and head of premed club. give me andrew knowing every sesh spot, nicky with a tie wrapped around his head at a house party. i want neil notorious on campus for being "the mean hot guy", matt dapping up every person he sees, kevin chugging a mickey of vodka to prove to people that he can. and finally allison always getting free club entry, dan being friends with every employee at the school gym, renee blushing in the club bathroom as a group of drunk girls hypes her up. just. college students. absolutely obsessed with the fact that they are simply a group of stupid young adults <3

cue to people realizing he's talking about a real life human MONTHS later. minds are blown. jaws drop. that one guy who has been flirting with Jean for months immediately returns the top quality dog treats he bought.
