i do think creators should engage more in whatever the opposite of ship-baiting is. less "will they, won't they" more "these characters are so fucking toxic can you imagine how repulsive it would be if they got together in canon? bc we the writers have that power. to make you, our audience, suffer. this is an hostage situationship :("

I am like 95% certain that parents forget that they are raising 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀, and act like they are their children will always stay their children, and not have the face the full world without them.

It leads to situations like these where someone wants to, can technically do so, but has been conditioned to not, and, while this is a shitty mental situation, not the worst. Some can be stuck in very unhealthy situations, and feel too scared to speak up because they're so used to hearing, "No one cares".

I miss being able to gush about things with friends, but years of being told to “shut the fuck up loser” in my youth really took the wind out of those sails.
