my biggest regret in life is not having booped back immediately that one user i had been spam-boopin back and forth with for a while cause i had to leave for uni, and when i opened tumblr again to get back at them the boopin was gone
they will forever have the final boop
if you are reading this, watch your back, revenge is a dish best served cold.
saw someone criticising hazbin hotel for "religious appropriation" of christian symbols or smth like that as if christian religion hasn't historically been (and still is) violently forced upon people and hasn't been so intrinsically absorbed in our society and system and thought that we don't even recognise how biased they are. like how ignorant and out of touch with reality do you have to be? you should probably read a history book rather than be watching cartoons darling
but isn't it really ironic that vox's name literally means "voice" in latin, considering that one of the aspects he mostly brags off when comparing himself to alastor is that television is better than radio because it's video beyond voice?
I seen a lot of people argue at Percy is too smart in the show but One, Sally Jackson used Greek myths as bedtime stories, she took him to museums, she did her best to teach him about the God's and monster's that were gonna come to hurt him, was he ment to not learn anything? And Two, Perseus Jackson isn't an idiot! The books are from HIS point of view and he's is an unreliable narrator that THINKS he's an idiot. He's not ACTUALLY an idiot.
IN LOVE with the scenes added to the pjo show that are different from the book. they make the characters feel so real and human. i'm specifically referring to the deeper focus on medusa's story, to annabeth talking to hephaestus at the waterpark and (my absolute favourite) to the conversation between ares and grover (the book was so biased against ares 'cos we saw everything through percy's pov which made absolute sense, but i love the way the show is portraying him)
i finally started watching the new pjo series and honestly? anyone i've seen/heard complaining about the casting choices or saying that they won't watch the series because of them is NOT a pjo fan. i've waited for this for ten (10) fucking years and i am loving every second of it. my inner child is healing.
hiiragi and shizusumi will forever be my favourite couple in the given series cos like, the childhood friends to lovers? the opposites attract? the devotion and worshipping? beautiful
no cos you don't understand, i am not ready to watch hiiragi mix animated. hiiragi's confession? hiiragi breaking in shizu's home in the middle of the night?? (he had a spare key yeah whatever) hiiragi's inner monologues??? the origami paper scene???? the “you've made me your God with a single sheet of gold origami" quote?????
i need to talk to akutami because i genuinely don't understand : what's the point in writing hands down the best female co-protagonist any manga/anime has ever seen, only for her to die like mid-series??
when i read that scene in the manga i didn't imagine nobara using her confident, firm, boisterous tone while saying her last words but it fits SO WELL i loved that choice
