Diego: "No, of course not...Jane, you should be careful around that guy."

Jane: "Your Dad is so cool, Diego! I can't believe he built this dock all by himself."

Diego: "Yeah, now I know where I get my awesomeness from...Hey, you wanna see something cool that I found?"

Jane: "Yeah!...Woah, your Dad's old camera?"

Diego: "Mhm. Found it on his night stand earlier when I was looking for his glasses. You wanna take a picture in front of the dock?"

Jane: "Oooh, yes! Does my hair look fine? Does it look good?"

Diego: "Oh my goodness, you're fine. Alright, smile."

Jane: "Ugh, oh no, did the wind ruin it?"

Diego: "No, no, it didn't. You...almost look like you're shining."

if chrysalis is defeated by the time this au starts, then who is the new butterfly holder? and what happened to lila?

Yeah sooo she's in prison, lol. (Sorry, Lila fans, but I absolutely hate her 😞🙏) During the final battle between her, Ladybug, and Chat Noir, Ladybug obtained the butterfly miraculous, and Lila just sorta gave up. Yippee justice! Sorry if that's not a satisfying answer, I would have killed her off, but I chose mercy, and it would have literally just been a Gabriel type situation all over again.

Currently, there is no butterfly holder. Marinette claims to have destroyed the butterfly miraculous for no more "Hawkmoths" appearing, but in reality, she didn't destroy it and is keeping it safely hidden. The Kwamii's convinced her not to destroy it because, duh, Nooroo is their friend. Nobody else knows the butterfly exists, but I plan for there to be stuff later on in the story where she tells Adrien about it and somehow a certain silly somebody (cough cough Blair cough cough) obtains it and causes even more mayhem. 🙂‍↕️

Yup! This probably isn't an original headcanon, but he has natural brown hair in this au. Gabriel used to dye it whenever he was younger to look more like his mother because he's js like that, but ever since Gabriel died, Adrien stopped getting it bleached and let it grow out. 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

I'm FINALLY done sketching and planning out chapter one for my Miraculous Ladybug Gem AU! Page one will probably be posted sometime this month, so stay tuned for that! Each page will have 6 panels btw :D

ALSO, I just wanna say that I'm making this AU for funsies and nothing else, even though that's what some AU's are made for. So I apologize in advance if most of the lore and writing don't make sense, I just wanna make something fun for myself and for the others that possibly enjoy my AU. Anyways, sorry for the rant.
