This was what I was able to do. The frames turned out great but unfortunately the app had a weird glitch as it kept putting the layers of several frames in the wrong order. This led to the animation being played with only the backgrounds and no people.
As a result, I had to stop as it was becoming frustrating. However, I did my best and I am getting new animation equipment soon. I can't wait and I hope it will help my skills improve for the future.

Progress update : I really like the last frame as I managed to get the details to the way I wanted them to be. I'm not sure if I'll get it done on time however, so I'll do as much as I can.

Attempting to recreate the scene on my iPad. This is what I have done so far. I'm pausing the clip on YouTube so that I can follow what happens next. It's a tedious process due to the app and the age of the tablet, but I like how it looks so far.

My storyboard for the scene. I took down important events that happened in each frame and analysed many things, such as camera angles, facial expressions and movement.

I've been thinking about what movie to analyse and so I chose Beau's Death scene from the 2018 movie A Quiet Place. Here I have the clip from YouTube for reference.
I only had watched this film on Netflix almost 2 weeks ago and it was really good, considering I don't watch a lot of horror. This scene was shocking but a good introduction into the kind of world the characters live in.

My finished animation. I had issues uploading it to Tumblr and even Vimeo. If I figure it out, I may send a link. Anyways, here it is. I enjoyed learning more about animation and can't wait to improve in the future.

I managed to use Photoshop to edit and cut out parts that will be animated. I learned new tools that will help my animation run smoother. I'm now ready to use Adobe Animate.

For my first brief in animation. I researched movie posters to animate and I decided to go with Jurassic Park. I liked the raptor on the upturned car the best so I went with it and planned out a storyboard of how I could animate it.

My workspace for print. I didn't have a wall space to put prints up so I put them in a pile along with my contextual notebook, lino, name and K number.

Here are some prints I did from lino. I did some black, red and added colour like purple and yellow. The one with the text is my favourite. The "Shut Up !" turned out more angry, which made it go better with my theme. The red stands out well against the purple.

This is my black and white design which I will be using lino for. It's a popcorn box with a strict message to keep quiet during the movie. I like this image because the meaning is clear and I think it will do well as a lino print.

My first sheet is complete. I made the image as simple as possible to bring the message of not talking across. The text on the screen portrays what many feel when there's rude people at the movies. Many ads in cinemas show a no talking and phone policy, but many ignore this.

My print is starting to take shape. I experimented with printing the seats a lighter pink-red to add colour to the print. I also used lino to design mouths and cut them so that they could be used as stamps. I like how the mouths stand out and I might add more or even bigger ones to make the theme more chaotic.

I started on my prints by using a black-blue colour and reusing it to get lighter shades. I cut out shapes of the seats and used them like stencils, as well as the screen, to make them stand out.

Print Elective
For my protest theme, I decided to go with rude people talking in the cinema. This always irritates me and I will express this annoyance in print. I drew a layout of a cinema with the seats, screen and the people as talking mouths.

The final result. I picked a font and decided to curve it around the camel inside the nonagon. I used Photoshop to achieve this after scanning my logo. I also printed it in black and white. It is not completely perfect, but I am proud of what I have made and enjoyed working in graphic design.
