𓂃۶ৎ: 4 Times Kakashi says ' I Love You '

1. In the Morning, you woke up tangled in the sheets, the scent of Kakashi lingering beside you. He was already awake, propped on one elbow, reading.

He leaned down, brushing his forehead against yours. "I love you," he whispered softly, voice rough with sleep. "More than I thought possible. Especially in moments like this."

Feeling your stir, he put the book down and smiled, his mask placed near the bedside table.

"Good morning," he murmured.

You reached for him lazily. "Come back to bed for five more minutes."

He leaned down, brushing his forehead against yours. "I love you," he whispered softly, voice rough with sleep.

2. After a Nightmare

You woke up gasping, tears in your eyes from a horrible dream. Kakashi immediately held you close, rubbing your back.

"It’s okay," he whispered. "I’ve got you. I’m here."

You clung to him tightly.

He kissed the top of your head and whispered into your hair, "I love you. You’re safe with me. Nothing’s going to happen to you, not while I’m breathing."

He rocked you gently until you calmed.

3. Before a Mission

You both stood at the village gates, about to part for separate missions. You tightened his flak vest nervously.

"Be careful..." you said.

He caught your hand and held it to his chest. "I will. But if anything happens..." He paused. "No. I shouldn’t say that. I love you. That’s all I want you to remember. Always."

Then he kissed you.

4. On a stroll.

You were walking together through the market, arms linked. The day was sunny.

You stopped at a dango stand, ordering your favorite. Kakashi pulled down his mask just enough to take a bite of yours.

"Hey!" you laughed. "That was mine."

He gave you a mock-innocent look, leaned closer, and said with a teasing smile, "I love you, so it’s only fair I share your dango."

You rolled your eyes and kissed his cheek.

You stood on your toes, your chest beating as you leaned in. Kakashi watched you intently. For once, he hadn’t brushed off your teasing, hadn’t dodged your flirting with a lazy excuse or a book.

Your face was so close now, and he didn’t move away. You took it as permission.

“Finally,” you whispered, smiling.

But just as your lips barely brushed his mask, his hand shot up, fingers tugging the cloth back in place. His head tilted slightly back, avoiding the kiss.

You blinked, lips still puckered, and let out a frustrated whine. “Kakashi!”

He scratched the back of his head, clearly flustered. “Sorry. Reflex.”

“Reflex?!” You groaned, lightly smacking his arm. “You literally let me get that close just to block me at the last second?”

“I panicked,” he admitted, eye crinkling in amusement.

You pouted. “You owe me now.”

He paused, then leaned in just enough to murmur behind the mask, “Next time… I’ll try not to panic.”
