so it’s currently 11:15 pm here in cali and i’m probably gonna be up until 1 am revising for this midterm tomorrow. this is the setup for tonight: my laptop, my hot water, basic pens and markers, my study guide, and my planner. sometimes even the most studious of us don’t prepare well enough beforehand and have to pull a late night, just don’t make a habit of it! but hey, y’all know i’m human and here’s proof, cause i still have two pages of this study guide to finish, wish me luck!!

Bumblebees usually nest underground and just wanna be left alone! They won’t hurt you. To prevent destroying their habit during hibernation, avoid mowing yards until April or May. If you do mow, raise the blades to the highest setting

Break ideas

Want to take a break from studying but you don’t want to end up just scrolling through social media like a zombie? Here are some break ideas:

10 minutes or less:

go get a glass of water

make yourself a cup of tea

jurnal a bit

ask someone for a massage or just ease the tension in you shoulders yourself

go over your goals or to-do list

play with pets

make a snack (healthy if possible)

listen to music

watch a short youtube video

10 minutes or more:

stretch

work out

write a poem

draw a picture

watch an episode of your favourite show

play with pets but LONGER

spend time with family

call a friend (or text them if you aren’t a fan of phonecalls like me)

prepare lunch for the next day

watch a long youtube video

go for a walk

take a nap (shorter than 20 minutes is the best for refreshing your mind)

shower

listen to a podcast

Hey Guys!

Again these are really old notes - I haven’t been taking any pictures of the new ones because I’ve been soooo busy and my notes aren’t very asethic 😂. Not like that matters but I have had these pics for so long and I might as well post them.

hello lovelies!! in celebration of surpassing 1k on my studyblr, i’m starting a series called time for o’s, which will be a compilation of tips on studying and note-taking that i’ve gathered as i approach my o’ level exams this year. so without further ado, i’ll kick off the first part of this series ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

time for o’s // colour coding

when taking notes from a textbook, or in class, having a colour code makes sieving through tons of information much much easier!! by sorting the information when you first receive it, this makes writing notes a lot more efficient, because you now have the ability to sort your post-its in whichever way makes the most sense to you. i’ve found that the code above is not only applicable to many subjects, but also doesn’t force you to omit any syllabus content!!

this colour code can also be extended to your highlighters and notes, by using the different colors as headers - click here to see an example of the colour code in my notes!

you can also opt to just have a colour code for your highlighters, and utilise them in your textbooks rather than write the information out on post its
