Royal astrologist to the queen so essentially the pope to a culture that worships stars and planets, except he'd much rather be in a university lecture hall learning about science and enjoying the city nightlife instead of trapped in an astronomy tower.

Flashy and confident, well learned, but ultimately very lonely and self conscious.

Foot solider recognized by the queen for his excellence (ability to kill a man) and became a royal knight and tasked to keep an eye on her flighty royal astrologist who he's been secretly obsessed with since they were kids.

Outwardly friendly and dashing to fit the knightly expectations internally still a solider on a battlefield.

Oc kiss week: first

‘Crescent”🌙 and “Helios”☀️

Court appointed astrologist and royal guard leader begin a flirty affair. These two ocs have been in my head for a while and I decided finally to just give them faces.

“Crescent” (he/him, trans man, gay) was the court astrologists apprentice until he ran away to alchemy school learning more practical sciences. However after the original astrologists death the new young Queen wanted to reestablish the court appointed astrologist roll. They make predictions and read star charts in a way Crescent just doesn’t believe is legitimate anymore, but he is willing to play the part for the sake of abandoning his mentor.

“Helios” (he/they, enby, demi) is a talented royal knight, his families comfortable life style a product of his position and his twin brothers management. When he became the royal guard leader he, like all before him, had to swear some part of himself to the queen as proof of his devotion and duty (in his case his heart). This near magical bond begins to haunt him when he begins to feel deep devotion for someone else, and though Crescent is convinced it’s just guilt Helios swears it’s a magical curse.

Their story is all about yearning, duty and my person exploration of masculinity.
