Humanoid depictions of GLaDOS annoy me so much
You're missing the point, you don't get it all
GLaDOS is a god. Every floor you walk on is her body, every panel of wall is a limb she can move independently, every camera is her eyes, every bullet the pierces your flesh is her too even if it's fired by a turret, the turrets are given limited sentience and autonomy but they are still parts of her
Every breath you take is granted to you by her, likewise you see with her light. There are innumerable processes running just to keep you alive. Not to mention everything she's doing that you can't see. It's not an exaggeration to say that with the processing power and machinery available to her she could do anything she set her mind to
Now imagine the enormity of everything that she is, and it's all focused on you. Because the only the she wants in the entire world is to watch you scamper around solving puzzles at her whim.
You are very literally a toy for her to be amused by

Look at this evil ass bastard man >:>
Evil evil entity. Stained and BAD!

This is the final hour of the Crimson Lineage. The end of an era before time itself existed. When the primordial monsters roamed freely. Two impossibly large armies fought at the gates of a crimson stained fortress. This is the final stronghold of the King Stained Crimson, standing out against the infinitely empty darkness around it like a lighthouse in deep fog.
This battle had been ongoing for a millennium. The war itself has spanned uncountable, unknowable eons. The battlefield was covered with eldritch, primordial daemons and gilded armored angels fighting against eachother. Or was it in actuality clusters of nebulae shooting energy back and forth? It was order against chaos. The seas rose and the sky fell against it. Monsters of crimson, gold, silver, and platinum tore at eachother. The space was filled with those who were now husks, or corpses and those who were still fighting. By themselves, neither side seem to be gaining any ground...
Then, uncountable silver beams of light danced across the battlefield, disintegrating all who crossed its path. The daemons stained with the crimson ichor of battles past were shredded to the very last strand of their own soul. This was the turning point of the whole battle. Hundreds of millions of the Stained soldiers died. Three specs of light rushed forward in the ensuing clash as the two armies ran once again to fight. These motes of light; one silver, one golden, and one platinum. The walls of the fortress exploded as these lights crashed into it like it was mere paper.
Inside it's court... The King Stained Crimson stood and oversaw the battle, it was staring out at it's losing army. Behind it, seven of it's children still stood by it. And before it... It's rebellious offspring. The three who betrayed it. The three it mourned the most. The Princes in Silver, Platinum, and Gold.
The seven daughters wailed as chains pinned them to the floor and dragged them to their thrones. Before it could even begin to act, the Stained King's own spouse- The Black Ocean rose and held it down. Acting upon the signal from the traitor Queen... The Prince in Silver swooped down, in its claw, Thanatos its lance. The King's body was pierced. The sound was like shattering glass as cracks grew and widened within the King's own form.
It didn't cry, nor did it scream. It wrapped his trembling arms around its child, for one last time. The madness that had clouded its eyes for countless years slowly faded away... Its hoarse voice, now became soft and gentle.
"My... child. My son. I am so... sorry. You... You are not the person... you wanted to be. Not the person... I had hoped you were."
With its final words, the King crumbled to dust... Its essence scattered across the now empty void where its citadel once stood. All that remained were the imprisoned seven, the ruling three, and the Queen.
