My work from my 15 week major project at Academy of Interactive Entertainment.
My main role in the project was environment artist I also acted as art director, creating an art bible and ensuring other artists worked to the style planned and I worked on some UI elements.
3D environment assets made in Maya and textured using Photoshop. Some environment assets are 2D sprite planes.
UI element in this post is the compass which displays health & stamina bars, compass points; white points to the nearest supply tent for players to recharge in and the red points to the base camp.
On the opposite side are counters of how many landmarks, enemies and coins the player has discovered.
