So, here's a school project I did over the course of 2 weeks. The idea was to create a street food stand in the style of Star Wars Outlaw.
So that's what I did, detailing the process, the functionnalities, and the culinary speciality !
So, here goes the process :

English summary: Marokon Kauhu, the docufiction that I directed, on Finnish war hero Captain Aarne Juutilainen (1904 – 1976), is now streaming in Finland on Elisa Viihde.

🐗Boar Humanoid and His Minions
This one had no deep story — I just wanted to make a weird creature and give him even weirder minions.
The goal was to explore character design and see how different figures could move and interact on screen. The boar humanoid ended up feeling like some kind of forgotten mythological boss monster… and his minions were chaotic little gremlins who followed him around.
It was pure fun. No rules, no pressure, just making strange things move.

MeloMap – Where Music Meets Maps
For a recent college design assignment called "Mashup", we were asked to combine a profession and an object into a fictional brand with a visual identity. My group was given the words:
Profession: Musician Object: Location
We created MeloMap – a mobile app concept similar to Google Maps, but specifically for music lovers. It helps users discover live music concerts, festivals, and gigs happening around them, complete with real-time directions and schedules.
Our brand name "MeloMap" is a blend of "Melody" and "Map", representing how the app bridges the world of music and navigation.
Here's a preview of our logo and design work for MeloMap:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
About the Logo:
The logo for MeloMap reflects the fusion of sound and space. We combined visual elements inspired by:
A location pin, representing direction and discovery
A musical note, symbolizing sound, rhythm, and concerts
The design is clean and modern, using curves and minimalist shapes to keep the logo versatile across app icons, banners, and marketing. We chose a harmonious color palette that reflects creativity and movement, mirroring the dynamic experience of live music exploration.
What We Learned:
This assignment taught us the power of creative thinking and collaboration. We learned how to:
Combine two unrelated ideas into one cohesive brand concept
Develop a visual identity that communicates a clear message
Think like brand creators and not just designers
Pitch and present an idea with both logic and imagination
It was a fun and insightful experience that showed how design can turn abstract ideas into something that feels real and usable.
Let us know what you think in the comments! Would you use an app like MeloMap?

"Horned Cheetah" redesign
Finally finished that "secret" project of mine! I have the awesome opportunity to redesign magic card(s) based on the original prompt to display at the school show "story and craft; a magic exhibition" at Milwaukee institute for art and design. This is one of two redesigns I made for the student portion of the show. it was an exiting opportunity, and I had a ton of fun working on this. The prompt was something along the lines of a horned cheetah lunging at the viewer tearing into a phyrexian.

Planning, following through
I have an unwavering love of planning. It comes easy. Following through is the hard part.
I have about half a million empty planners, notebooks, documents, etc… Anything that can be used to formulate a plan to navigate the messiness of life, relationships, work…I have a blank one.
It’s not that I don’t want to follow through on the carefully crafted, chaotic plans I’ve made in my head, I truly do. But the thought of putting myself out there, revealing to people that I do care about them and myself and my future and their future and our future together…that’s the part that gets me.
Take this blog for example. I set myself a simple and clear plan, write a few times a week, and publish every other day.
Have I done that? Absolutely not.
This blog, iti ne, is already my pride and joy. It’s something I’ve built myself, with no help, and it will forever be part of me.
But the thought of people I know, people I love, getting a glimpse inside my brain terrifies me to no end.
But I didn’t think about that when planning and coming up with ideas for this blog. So I published it, with only two pieces written.
I haven’t written anything since I launched the blog. Some would say it’s writer’s block, I would say it’s an empty mind.
I feel like whenever I think about something, I think about it too much. I think about it so much it’s all I can think about. I think about it so much it consumes my mind. I think about it so much I hate not thinking about it, I hate thinking about anything else.
But then I forget, and pretend like nothing ever happened. Almost like I planned it.
I’m learning that if I don’t prove to myself that I can do something, I’ll never believe that I actually can do it.
So here I am, proving that I can be vulnerable. Proving that I can follow through. Proving that I can write. Proving that I can think clearly.
I believe I can do it.
