I had a dream recently. And the Bad Guys have some posters in it. I don't really remember what happened next in my dream, but I remembered this poster of Killer, so I decided to draw it.

I love me some canon art.

It’s crazy to see how far fanon will change things -

From Horror being huge and slow to speak… not to mention HIM being a cannibal, when in canon he never ate a human - also, is it cannibalism if the monsters are eating a different species? Canon Horror processes thoughts and speaks just fine and he’s pretty rude n nasty to his Papyrus - there’s no “over-protective” big brother here

Or fanon Dusts storyline is very often changed. Plus, in canon his LV resets to 1 every time there’s a reset - he doesn’t keep it. He DOESNT wear Papyrus’s scarf/cape, and sorry, but no purple bones here… also his eyelights are usually white if he’s not in combat or having trouble controlling his emotions; sad, neutral, and depressed they stay white

Or Killers outfit not having the cream lining at the edge of the pockets, ALWAYS having dripping eyes, and forgetting that he has four “stages” his SOUL goes through ranging from mild and stable through maniacal and unhinged - not to mention how he’s always depicted as wide-eyed instead of how one eyelid is usually more relaxed and lowered. Also? His AU is called “Something New” - not Killertale

Fanon Underfell designs are often changed as well (in canon he’s only got one functioning eyelight, his hoodie floof is reactive upon his magic/emotions because its more like a smoke, and people often forget his rings), and people make his Papyrus (Edge) waaaay more abusive in fanon than canon

It’s not hard to look this stuff up.

So whenever a story is written with canon facts instead of fanon, I just about lose my mind. I don’t mind fanon, but there’s something special about just… getting it RIGHT.

I appreciate this art more than the artist will probably ever know.
