A magical new beginning to you all. A year of creation, starting, fresh beginnings and miracles await each and every moment within the magnificence of who you already are. A time to playfully engage with all that makes you up, the life expression of you in each moments form. Last night I shared a lovely quiet New Years at home with my daughter, her friend and on FaceTime with my gorgeous sister and my two nieces! (Gotta live technology). I lite a 2016 candle early in the evening crystal grided the space placed very clear intents on paper for 2017 and then chatted and had some laughs. Then we fired up the brassier and the girls burnt their old school books and I placed layers and layers of dried herbs on the brassier each handful releasing or inviting an aspect of life to be recognised. The smells were phenomenal!!! Rosemary bunches, sage bunches, catnip and bay leaf bunches from the last couple of years harvest, also I had a large bowl of mixed herbs and dried flowers from my garden that I had dried over the year. All representing different aspects of life and experiences. A very beautiful and nurturing acknowledgement of the cycles of life. Yesterday I cleaned the house, cleaned out clothes we don't need or wear and saged the home. All acknowledgement of earths times space reality shift from one year to the next. Here is some magic I didn't expect!! 2mins before 12 am I connected deeply within myself and lite my 2017 candle from the flame of the 2016 one. I was still holding it (the 2017 candle) in my hand when the neighbours started letting off fire works. I felt a deep sense of appreciation and love for the expression of life and thought to blow out the 2016 candle, I was looking at it and it started to dim and flicker. Then here's the thing!!! It went out! I didn't even breath on it. at that moment my daughter came bouncing into my room saying happy new year !! Of course !!! (Seriously that was really cool) I found that transition extraordinarily simple yet profound! An external display of the shift from doing to being.
