What if dodos are just as bad at making nests as pigeons?
In fact, dodos are classified in the pigeon family. Their closest living relative is the Nicobar pigeon.

Parasaurolophus walkeri, a large Hadrosaurid dinosaur known from the Dinosaur Park formation in Alberta, Canada during the late Cretaceous period (76.5-73 Mya), recognizable for its iconic crest which it likely used for display and for communication.
This might be my last major post for a while since I'm going off to college next week!!! I'm excited and nervous and I'm going to be very busy 💖

An unfortunate Argentinosaurus huinculensis has been separated from its herd and targeted by a pair of hungry Mapusaurus roseae. With their serrated, flesh-tearing teeth, they attack the legs until the massive sauropod can no longer escape. Late Cretaceous Argentina (~93 Mya)

Hi! I just discovered your blog, and your art is wonderful!
(This question is extremely self indulgent, so if you need a facepalm, you can)
Do you like Mesozoic birds? They’re some of my favorite prehistoric animals. My favorites are the Avisaurids, such as Gettyia, Mirarce, Soroavisaurus, and Avisaurus itself. Also Avisaurus is literally the only reason I’d want to visit Hell Creek. No T. rex, no Triceratops. Just the birds.
(I draw them constantly and sculpt them and want to show you but your ask doesn’t support images and I am so sorry for asking you this I am not good with conversation :/)
I absolutely love Mesozoic birds!!! It's so fascinating to me how similar they are to modern birds while being so different at the same time. I haven't done as much research on them as I would like to, but I do have this awesome book!

I have drawn a few in the past, and one of these days I'll get around to doing some research and draw more of them. If I had to choose a favorite, (from my limited knowledge of them) I'd pick Hesperornis. Thanks for the ask!

honestly this couldn't be more accurate. Dinosaurs do infect every aspect of my life and I can not get enough.
I have made a new UQuiz:
What your opinions on dinosaurs say about you.
Have fun (it's a long one)
