Zoro's arm is right there! He's literally begging to have his pulse checked, but Law's like "nah, I'm off the clock."

That's why he later leaves Sanji in charge of fixing Zoro's demolished skeleton. He's setting boundaries to maintain a healthy work/life balance. Please respect that.

My headcanon is that Luffy knows that Law is different from his other friends and that sometimes he needs a little silence, so even though Luffy is always super energetic, he stops a little and just keeps Law company (I love their friendship).
