The more you are ugly from inside, the more you feel the need to look pretty and stunning from outside all the time. It's like you want to compensate for the lack of beauty inside. The task becomes a necessity or compulsion then. It is living in a survival mode. Beautify the inside and you won't feel the need to continuously spend time, effort, money etc. to look beautiful from outside. You would also stop seeking self assurance. -Sumeet Kaur #spilledthoughts #spilledink

When you step inside some poorly evolved workplaces, you get to meet all sort of nasty characters. There are selfish men fighting to have workplaces reserved only for them. These folks with agendas want to push entire 'woman race' into kitchens and enclose them in four walls of homes. And this only for the benefit and 'resurrection' of their 'very sacred species' both at personal and professional level. Then there are those so called 'special breed of women' who want to prove to every other woman that they are better than them. These women won't miss a single opportunity to put other woman down and tear her apart. They like to compete and are driven by jealousy and negativity. Well, the whole power dynamics is in full display in such workplaces. But what a solace? You get to meet few good souls too in these places.

Ready for a holiday, we all packed our bags and hopped into the cab. No doubt, we were excited! On the highway, our car started treading towards the valley and farms, and passed by sundry of shops selling trinkets and clothes, and eateries offering delectable Indian food. An hour after checking into the hotel, we so so so much wanted to soak ourselves into the pure delight of ethnicity sprawling everywhere around. We grabbed every beautiful outfit and piece of jewelry, we could get our hands on. We visited various craftsmen, weavers and small manufacturing firms there and bought directly from them. It is true that somewhere some prominent hint of culture gets lost while the clothes get delivered to cities via trucks and other modes. We were lucky enough for sure! We caught a whiff of untreated fabric, took a dive into the pool of skin-friendly colors, touched the freshly printed designs and also saw how new and contemporary were incorporated with traditional in designs. We felt that we were in some fantasy land where our every fashion wish or whim would get fulfilled just by snapping fingers and before our eyes. It was a holiday well spent immersing in the richness of our exuberant culture. - Sumeet Kaur

The screeching wind blew under the sea. A little later, the simpleton came riding on the orchids of ill-intentions, and hiding agendas in the shells. Morgana pulled herself out of the plump leaves, pushed them with her hands, and then prised the hem of her rob stuck in thorns. The frail successor to the evil stared at mermaid Melody with sad eyes and talked weird stuff with wicked Undertow. Later, she poured sauces in its mind and finally hatched a sinister plan. The tiger shark started by doing some sweet-talk with Melody. The Little Mermaid 2- sumeet kaur

We have no control over what we go through in life...The only thing we have control over is our integrity... It's important that one should live his or her life keeping his/her moral values intact... We might go through bad stuff...have scars all over us...but we know that we are not bad people...And this is important... Shameless people are everywhere ..they hurt and harm other people and it does not even bother their conscience ...At least we are not like them....

Sadness can kill you. It is murderous. That's why some people indulge in sadistic pleasures. They take joy in hurting and harming other people and laughing at them. They think that by doing this they can escape the sadness in their life. Staying happy is not everybody's kind of thing...

A cunning and morally-corrupt woman with self-vested interests would use both 'patriarchy' and fancy words like 'feminism' and 'women empowerment' to hurt and harm other women. "Let us raise strong women and know who the strong women are."
The first step to creating a more just and fairer society, where women have to face less struggles and have equal rights, is to propagate 'sisterhood' and spread less hate for men in the name of 'feminism.'

Bad people don’t go far in life; no matter how ambitious they are. They can reach a place in life by befooling others; but sooner or later their life gets stagnant as they don’t meet people whom they can befool or use anymore.
Always be a good person! Life is short!!
You don’t need much to be a happy person.

When the times were hard,
They softly entered your life.
When the rain and hail hit you a little harshly,
They gently bandaged your injury.
When noises of the outside world started distracting you,
They quietly suggested to give them adieu.
When the storm left at long last,
They made sure you could still sing and dance.

Honey spilled from her lips.
The girl was smitten with the flowers, she watered;
The pearl ships, she harboured.
Then she started pruning the parts of her.
The evil and dark dazzled.
And then she took out the knife and arrow.
And took a shot at the girl and others.
