Update:Results

My Thyroid gland was removed as it had a cancerous tumour which spread to 3 other glands.

I'm now cancer free.

I will be starting Radio iodine treatment once I've seen another consultant.

I can not praise the NHS enough!!

3rd Update

I had the surgery yesterday and all went well. Both the Thyroid and the other gland were removed successfully.
