Hi!

I entered Invisobang for the first time this year! It was an absolute blast. A wild cocktail of fun, stress, learning SO MANY NEW THINGS, and meeting so many talented people! It really was an incredible event!

I participated in the artist category, and got paired with the amazing and lovely @ninjysworld, and her Cabin in the woods-type horror story, Ghostly Heirlooms ! TW: psychological horror, body-horror, horror-typical themes, child-abuse, supernatural elements.

My contribution covers one little scene in chapter 2 of her story, so if you don't want immediate spoilers, GO READ THE STORY FIRST!!

As well, her story is not a light story in the slightest, as indicated by the tags, and my art reflects that. Because of that, read only if you aren't affected by the following things:

TW: Horror-typical themes, corpse, maggots, dilapidated furniture/architecture, animation of a corpse crawling towards the viewer, Danny having a very shit time overall, Vlad Plasmius (I know the man deserves his own tw in general, but he's just that much more extra in this one)

So there's this other fic that is just a whole entire mood to read. It's a Spamton X Reader fic but where the reader doesn't immediately feel the urge to take our esteemed garbage man home.

And boy, is our little garbage man a little shit in this one XD. I'm very much enjoying this fic for the different approach it gives us.

I drew these while at work, when I couldn't focus and while I'm aware it's a Reader insert, it's easier for me to imagine an OC than myself x')

Also, I may have finally coined down a style for our dearest trashy puppet boy. I'm rather happy with it.

Spamton NEO

So... am I the only one who thinks Spamton’s NEO form has the chest piece upside down???? I would love some input here.

That right there just looks like an upside down chest piece to me.

Everything is kind of just dangling around, in his sprite, yeah? He’s literally a puppet on a string. Aside from his head, that he only ever just moves occasionally, and his canon arm, that he moves even less, everything else is just lifeless and hanging about him. There’s no independent movement, nothing to indicate he even has full control of this form.

So what’s to say that the pieces are even properly attached to each other, in the first place? As Swatch mentions, this is a Lightner’s project, that he helped initiate but then got abandoned in the basement. It’s not finished. There’s nothing indicating that his suit is even made of fully connected pieces. When one looks at his sprite, the limbs even look like they’re coming out of his back, from behind the wings.

I want to know if it’s just me or if someone else noticed this because I didn’t get a very good clue from the fanart I’ve seen thus far.

I like to think Spamton’s complexion is slitghly more blue when he first puts on the new outfit because he’s feeling kind of sick with panic and fear. Hence the different color.

Also, you can’t tell me they didn’t a lot of selfies back in the time. Like, it’s now canon (to the fic) that these two were not strangers to physical contact. The selfie is absolutely a thing that happened, plz. And somewhere in Swatch’s phone or on a shelf, there’s def at least a picture of them two (please).
