Space Merc Fic complete!

I have officially posted the entirety of my first "Reborn as a Space Mercenary" fanfic! I might write a second one at some point. There's still tons of (forgive the pun) space to play in the sand box, and I had a lot of fun with this one. Time will tell!

Hiro is present when Chris wakes up from her stasis pod. He rescued her from a pirate ship. She wound up in the pirate ship after her uncle tried to kill her whole family.

She's in a complicated situation.

There was also one really BIG mutated creature Hiro had to kill. He shoved a plasma grenade down its throat.

This is the final illustration of Book 2. After this, Hiro gets a hefty reward and the crew of the Krishna leaves for a vacation solar system. Surely nothing unexpected will happen there.

One upon a time, the creepy cultivated meat creatures attacked the peaceful colony of Arein. Fortunately, Captain Hiro had his trusty power armor on board, he and he blew them aaaaaaaall up. Yaaaaay!

Serena shows up at the Arien colony Hiro and the girls are visiting. She ends up hiring Hiro to teach her new Anti-Pirate Mobile Fleet tricky tactics to hunt pirates. Namely, setting a baitship and attacking when the pirates move in. Fishing, space mercenary style.

This particular image is when she tries to trick Hiro into a one-on-one work meeting at a private restaurant. Hiro correctly interprets this as a sneaky attempt to get him alone on a date, and calls Elma and Mimi for backup. He doesn't want to be alone with Serena because he doesn't trust her.

Boy's got good instincts.

Serena gets way too drunk and starts complaining that she saw him first, but as soon as she looked away, Hiro's already got two other girls. I'd feel sorry for her, but... I don't.

Hiro goes on a walk on his own, looking for a video game console. He ends up saving Doctor Shouko from someone who stole a briefcase from her. Said briefcase contained Hiro's genetic data. Surely this won't case any problems.

Mimi and Elma, upon hearing of this misadventure, both resolve to never let Hiro go anywhere alone again, since he just can't seem to keep himself out of trouble.

Hiro, Mimi, and Elma tour a cultivated meat factory. It turns out to be the stuff of nightmares.

Fortunately, the brewery tour later helps ease the psychological damage.

Elma reveals an embarrassing discovery from their medical checkups, and Hiro teases her just a little with it.

Doctor Shouko. Researcher and scientist at Inagawa Tech, and a trained medical doctor. Hiro and the girls actually saved her from a pirate attack in the beginning of this book, although they didn't know it at the time; she was a passenger on a ship they rescued.

She's extremely interested in the fact that Hiro's genetic code is unique, and asks him for samples. Hiro agrees, and comes to regret that decision due to her, shall we say, collection methods.

Hiro and Mimi go on a date, and Hiro ends up buying several gothic lolita outfits for Mimi.

Over the course of the series, it becomes increasingly obvious that Hiro has bit of cosplay fetish.
