In the cinema, and waiting through the adverts this woman a couple of seats down is reading Ao3.
I can't tell what it is, but she seems pretty invested. And you know, you go. I sure don't have that confidence.
But that's because I read smut.

why the fuck are you using ai
I was about to say what the fuck are you on about, but I looked back at my posts (the first one, that I completely forgot about) It wasn't intended.
My laptop updated, which means my Google updated, so I Googled something and it automatically comes up with an AI overview and I looked at it because I'm lazy.
Hope this helps, because I will not lie, I saw your question, and it confused the shit out of me. But, it was also a really valid question. I'm lazy and want my coursework over and done with.

I'm finishing of my History Coursework and looking for information about the English Reformation of 1603-1714 (sounds exhilarating, I know) and burst out laughing because the AI overview has a 'Glorious Revolution' section and I read it as 'Glorious Evolution' naturally.
I'm afraid to report that Viktor has taken over.

Catching up on my Law & Order abd I pointed to the tv and said "Look mum, it's Dancy man"
And she just looks at the tv and said "Damn he looks old in this"
😐😑😐
"Well he is turning 50 this year and Hannibal was a decade ago"
She just shrugged and when back to what she was doing. I don't think my efforts were appreciated.

Pinterest is a dangerous game. Especially when on laptop.
I am in photography, I had to open up my Pinterest for some inspiration and why is the first thing I see a half nakey Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham. And then Jayvik making out *heavily* on the next panel.
How quickly I had to go to the search tab so my teacher wouldn't see.
(I'm in collage btw, so very small class, but still panicked me the fuck out)

YES! THIS!
I don't understand how a lot of people view Will as being this really weak person in fanfics, I know it is fan fiction and therefore you can write whatever you want, but it is mostly how he is portrayed, and I genuinely don't understand how.
What because he had encephalitis? was being manipulated by Hannibal? He's a dog lover? He's and introvert? He's an empath?
That doesn't make him this weak, clueless and soft person, yes he was being manipulated, but he was manipulating straight back! Hannibal didn't make him a murderer, he just showed him that he can be one, and he has someone on his side, Will is, as someone else on has put, a wolf in sheep's clothing.
I want to see more of canon Will, I want to see Will having control more in fanfics, because he does! Hannibal doesn't have all the power, yes he has a lot of it, but not all of it.
Disagree with me all you want, but my point stands.
Do you guys have any hannigram fic recs where Will isn’t made clueless, softer, dumber or as I saw someone put it babified
Idk how to explain it
Like a fic where you think his character is canon accurate
Idk if I am the only one who feels this way but every fic no matter how good feels out of character when it comes to Will
(this might just be a me issue)

I watched season 1 of Arcane recently (have yet to watch season 2, I'm....getting there)
But I feel bad because I've been neglecting Hannibal in favour of Jayvik (reason why I have yet to watch s2).
Now i have to figure out how to balance them both. Aswell as Mark Gatiss. Been neglecting him to. Shameful.

The one thing I love about Hannibal is that they were just hanging upside down, covered in blood and twirling around.
The twirling is what makes it funny.
Just waiting to arrive at Muskrat Farm, and they're just spinning.
Twirling like little ballerinas. Pretty little princesses.

A lot of people see Will Graham as a wet puppy in the show, because he sweats a lot and is sad (more reasons as well) as so when writing fanfiction, he is depicted in that way a lot more, especially in the relationship with him and Hannibal, and I get that, because Hannibal manipulated him a lot, lied about his illness, which made Will get worse, gutted him, sent him to prison, and most importantly, killed their daughter. But, I think that representation for Will Graham being in control of their relationship is a little bit underappreciated. I want to see more of him being in control, and aware of everything that is happening, and being more like how he was in The Red Dragon, and I understand that the books are noticeably very different from the show, but I want to see Will swearing more, not giving a shit, and him having more influence over a lot of people, instead of being more on the side lines in that area.
I also just really love seeing Hannibal as a pathetic little man.
(If I have upset anyone by this, I apologise, but I'm sticking by my point and thoughts, and if it has been said before, good.)

Watching the Conjuring and the amount of times I've watched and it NEVER occurred to me that when Carolyn Perron bites of Brad Hamilton's cheek off, it os SOOOOOO giving Will Graham, and all I can think after that scene is Hannibal with little heart eyes all over him.

Hanging out with friends this year for Halloween, and one of them said we had to dress up and she was going as Amy Dunne from Gone Girl, but the bloody version, and my other friend went as Ichigo Kurosaki, and I couldn't be bothered to buy or D.I.Y anything so I just put on my prom outfit from a couple years ago and accidentally went as Hannibal Lecter. So win win for me.
Although my mother kept saying I was a haunted butler. So rude.

Critical Appreciation of Lucy Westenra
Got the courage to post this again, last time I did it wasn't complete, I only gave one side of the essay. I haven't had this graded or handed back to my by my teacher yet, which is annoying, so I don't know if it is good or not (bear that in mind).
DISCLAIMER! - What I say in this essay, you do not have to take as facts nor agree with it, some of it is not my own opinion. I wrote this for homework as we were learning about Dracula and how Stoker's writing connects to that of Angela Carter's in The Bloody Chamber stories. The points that will be seen in this essay are strictly points we looked at in lesson and how one can view or interpret Lucy Westenra as such - Yet again, you do not have to agree, everyone has their own opinions, don't take this seriously.
Also, I haven't proof read, so apologies in advance.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The character of Lucy Westenra as a whole can be regarded first as a part of the ‘femme fatale’, in the view that she falls away from patriarchal norms, and is first seen when she states in a letter ‘why can’t they let a girl marry three men’ this shows that her character must be punished later on in the novel. According to Hollinger, when Westenra gets impaled with the stake by her fiancé, her ‘reactions are described as in terms reminiscent of sexual intercourse and orgasm’ further showing how far she has gone from the ideal Victorian woman and how corrupt she has become, it becomes clear to the reader at this point that Westenra must be killed off in order for her to cause no more disruption and to stay silent. Cater, in relation,  showing her characters as femme fatale can be seen throughout her first 3 stories, where the women are apart of patriarchal and gender norms at the beginning but fall away towards the end, and ultimately take charge of the scene, for example at the end of ‘Tiger’s Bride’ the female character has control when she shows herself to the beast and thus making him vulnerable, but this story also shows how Carter has made it satire because it shows a plot reversal when the female character ends up transforming making it a plot reversal to the original fairy tale, which is similar to ‘The Courtship of Mr Lyon’ and how the beauty saving the beast is made more prominent, making it very different from the traditional male saves female trope, which also makes it a contrast to Dracula as the novel ends up turning into a story of the men saving the females, Lucy and Mina.
When Westenra questions why she can’t marry more than one man in a letter to Mina Murray near the start of the novel, it makes her fit into being seen as a potential Pandora figure. In Greek mythology, Pandora was the first woman to be created by the gods, and was a part of the punishment of humanity. The myth has it that she was not allowed to accept any gifts given to her, but had one day given in and opened a jar, releasing all ills and evils into the world, leaving only hope inside. This therefore makes a Pandora figure a sign of temptation. This can fit into the character of Lucy Westenra because at first she is in a state of plenty and ease only to later become into a state of suffering and death, by her own actions of playing her suitors off against one another and her comment about marriage. Westenra going against patriarchal norms is an immediate need for correction, it is something that the readers have to expect to happen throughout the novel. In Angela Carter’s ‘The Bloody Chamber’ she shows a different side to this by making her female character more noticeable as a Pandora figure, and exaggerates it with the displays of the husband's previous three wives, incorporating more horror into it, however she doesn't punish the character into correction and instead kills off the husband by another female character.
Stoker also creates Westenra as an Ophelia figure, which is only seen through her second death. To be seen as an Ophelia figure, the character must have a tragic but beautiful death. Ophelia's death from Hamlet, though having a harsh truth, is described as being beautiful and lady-like, the tragedy of it being believed to have been suicide. Westenra’s death, the first time round, doesn't count as being overly tragic because it is stretched out, she doesn’t die straight away, or out of nowhere, and whilst it is sad that she got sick, only the audience are privy to the information of how and thus makes her death expected a way you could class it as tragic is by countering in the fact that she starts feasting upon children, and the destruction she befalls upon society with the threat of a ruined generation, however, that isn’t seen as a tragic death, because Westenra isn’t silent nor classed as beautiful anymore. Her death the second time round, does fit the profile of an Ophelia figure, because not only is she dead for good and can cause no more destruction, it fits with being tragic through the fact that her fiancé was the one who had to kill her with a stake through her heart. And through this second death, Stoker intends for us to see her as an Ophelia figure and therefore tells us that she is now beautiful again, which we further see when it is quoted ‘death has given back part of her beauty’ also telling us that she is now silent and malleable. This differentiates quite a bit from Carter as she gives her female characters flaws but doesn’t make a point to correct them, or overly punish them because of it.
Just before Westenra’s death it is signalled to the readers that she can also be seen as a Mary Magdalene figure. This is more prominent when Westenra is trying to seduce her finance by calling him her husband, which makes her also seen as a temptress, further supported by her previous statement about marriage. It is widely believed that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute before Jesus saved her and she became one of his most devoted disciples. And so in the terms of Westenra’s character she is also suggested to potentially be seen this way, she is tainted and then saved by death. Westenra violates sexual and social ideals when she has the blood transfusions, first by her fiancé, as they are to be wed and sharing bodily fluids is seen as a sexual act, and then also by the other men when they see it isn’t working, officially tainting Westenra and therefore she has to be saved. It becomes a gothic version of a biblical reference. It is widely known that vampires are repelled against anything religious and so by adding this biblical reference onto a vampire makes it more known to the readers that she is going to be saved and corrected from her ways. When Westenra is impaled she is ultimately saved and Dracula becomes more of a heroic novel than a horror, she is saved in the sense that she had been resorted to her original beauty and has become silenced, which is more emphasised by the fact that her mouth has been stuffed with garlic, it is to make sure she can never speak again, and is a sign that she is absolutely human. Carter plays with the temptation idea very subtly in ‘Tiger’s Bride’ but in contrast against Stoker, where he gives Westenra no choice in her corruption with the blood transfusions, Carter gives the female character all the control, the beast wants to see her nakedness but emphasises the fact that it is the female’s to give and share, and ends up making her have control of the beasts desire.
I've been craving a fanfic, where Hannibal and Will are already together and murder husbands, but no one knows, set at the time of Tobias Budge.
And the Chesapeake Ripper is actually both of them, and Will does all the killing, Hannibal just tells Will which parts he wants for the meals and designs the tableaus, and they plan and decide who the victim will be together.
And to everyone Hannibal is just a sweetheart, and obviously people want to date him because of that, and Will gets so jealous in public, but can't show it because no one knows, UNTILL, Hannibal gets attacked at his office and they forget that no one knows, because Hannibal is just happy Will is alove and Will hates to see Hannibal hurt, and Jack is all confused and so is everyone else, and Will takes Hannibal home and takes care of him.
And it's at that point I'm realising I'm going to have to write it myself.
