Been over a full month. Reblog if you still miss Star

There’s something very nice about remembering fics you read years ago. Maybe you remember the plot perfectly, maybe the rest of the fic is only a blur aside from a handful of vivid scenes, but you remember the way it made you feel. And sometimes you dredge up the memory - the premise or a favourite scene or a few lines that stayed with you -  and your heart aches a little bit, the way it does when you think about books you enjoyed as a child.

To all the fanfiction writers out there: your work is beautiful and meaningful and it leaves an impact. I promise.

Not going to lie, the reason I started watching SVTFOE was because one day the theme song for season 3 came on the TV and I thought “dang Tom looks good in a tux,” and so I began watching the show.

Does anyone else live in constant fear of your friends and family going through your phones camera role and seeing all the pictures of your fictional crushes???

Does anyone else have this problem where they want to write a story and you think you have it all planned out in your head but in reality it’s just a bunch of cute fluff scenes that do not fit together as a story at all?

It’s really bumming me out to think that a few years in the future I’ll look back and remember this show and all the hope and happiness it gave me when I needed it most, only to remember that it is over and only a select few will recall it and it’s greatness.

IMAGINE the Endgame portal sequence right bf the final battle but INSTEAD ✨ it’s a giant crossover between all our favorite modern cartoon characters 🤩

All hope is almost lost when a portal opens and..

random but,, JUST IMAGINE HOW EPIC 🤩🤩✨!! And there’s so many more cartoon to include as well (Hilda, Kora, Over the Garden Wall, etc.) Of course this could never happen but I can dream 😔✊🏼

Best Written and Developed Character in Star Vs. The Forces of Evil?

Tom Lucitor

One of the few characters who went through a genuine and believable change because he wanted to make himself better and was continuously entertaining to watch regardless of what was going on.

The emotional frustration he had in season 4 was the most understandable thing going on, and he was always being the better person. When he was suppose to be the one who was mad, he wasn’t. He stayed calmed and collected because getting angry isn’t who he is anymore. It wasn’t until he spent time away from Mewni did he realize he wasn’t happy being in a relationship with Star and that they’re better being friends.

Old Tom would’ve been so persistent and stubborn to admit something was wrong because he had Star. Our Tom now? He stood back and observed everything going on around to understand his circumstances and his friends. He did what was best for everyone.

Tom greatly understood how horrible his behavior was and he wanted to better himself to make himself happy. And he did just that. Watching him grow from Blood Moon Ball to Cleaved has been absolutely amazing.

I’m gonna miss this little demon boy.
