Here's a picture of my breakfast because I forgot to take a picture while doing yoga. I'm hitting the reset button a little. I've put way too much stress on myself with macro counting and lifting plans and freaking out when I missed something and then falling down the rabbit hole. I made up a new workout plan for myself, which includes more yoga and running - two things I've been neglecting. I think I might also be taking a break from tumblr - a large part of the people I followed for quite some time have left and it just doesn't feel the same, so I'll see how I feel about keeping that. Even though every ounce of me wanted to stay in bed and pretend I was still on vacation, I got up and dragged myself to the gym. I did a 10 minute warmup walk outside and then performance day from @crushfit. And now onto an egg scramble and coffee so I can function at work. #wearecrush #workout #breakfast #iifym #crushfit

I’m 23 now
I turned 23 last Wednesday and got to have the most amazing long weekend on a mini-vacation with my boyfriend. It was heaven. We went away for two days and didn’t have a care in the world. We sat by a pool with drinks in our hands and just relaxed. Then we went back to his family’s house for a few days which was also quite fun.
And now it’s over. I’m a little sad about it all ending. I was looking forward to all of this for awhile and now that it’s done, I’m slightly sad.
Anyways, it’s a new year for me so I figured I should have some goals and things for this upcoming year to try and start it off on the right foot:
-finish crush60 and do it once more. I really enjoy the crush program and the family that comes along with it. I’d like to finish the program one time through and then complete it again to hopefully continue to improve my fitness and a little vainly improve my physique.
-save as much money as possible until I decide to move out. if I’m still living home, my lofty goal is to save up to $10k, if i’m not, up to $5k.
-go through all of my things and start giving stuff away that I don’t need. I have so many things that I don’t need I just need to go through them.
-incorporate more fresh foods into my daily diet. Salads, fresh fruit, sides of vegetables. I’ve been neglecting these important foods and I need to put them back into my life.
-ideally, lean down all over. I’m probably carrying a few extra pounds that I could stand to lose. It would be nice to slim down a little.
-be better at making and keeping plans with my friends. I miss them and while I’m not super physically close to them, I am close enough that I can make the effort and go see them every now and then.
-tackle a big project at work. I need to get lost in a project and really invest my time in something meaningful.
And to start this whole thing off right, I’ll be hitting the gym for some crush day 35 performance tomorrow.

is it vacation time yet
I’m taking off Thursday and Friday so I can celebrate my birthday and have some nice just relaxing time at the beach/pool with my boyfriend. but holy shit until we get there - this week is killing me.
I was texting my friends - it feels like work is just a paddle just like whacking me down. I got a huge assignment dumped in my lap that’s due in the middle of next week and they were like oh yeah we probably should have done this first...you think? because this is on top of another huge assignment I’m trying to finish for the weekend after that. And finish the mountain of work I have this week. I literally am working enough for like 6 days in 3...so there’s that.
And i had a lot of sugar today and feel quite gross. And had stressful commutes - today was just quite the stressful day.
Tomorrow, however, somehow looks like it might be worse. At least I’m planning to start it off on the right foot with a nice leg day, but after that, lord knows. Get me to Wednesday at 5 pretty please.
