king aegon ii targaryen and queen mother alicent hightower, prince aemond targaryen, lady teya lannister with her lady-in-waiting oleria clegane, 129 AC

after their conversation, aemond had stormed out of the royal tent. alicent was yelling, aegon had tried to step in and calm her down, and poor helaena was covering her ears because it was all too loud for her.

late into the night, aemond had gone to teya's tent. she was awake, waiting for him, and he told her that his family now knew. their union was no secret anymore, at least not to his mother. before aemond had left the royal tent earlier, alicent had been pleading with him to do anything to get rid of the lannister girl, "think of what the baratheons would do," she'd said. as if aemond was ever actually going to wed floris baratheon in the first place.

the prince decided he would not crumble under his mother's anger, nor the cry she'd made to keep their allies. he'd been used as her weapon his whole life, raised without love. now that he had the love he'd so desperately craved his entire childhood, he would burn the world to keep it.

in the morning, the lords and ladies gathered in the main tent to break their fasts. teya lannister wore her house colors with pride, a cocky smile on her face. alicent, who was at aegon's side, glared at her the entire meal. teya felt her cold gaze, but it only caused her smugness to grow.

and when aemond eventually walked in, he had a smug smile on his face too.

im sorry but that pic of aemond by himself is so fucking funny to me. why does he look like hes going to school. bro thinks life is all fun and games.

while i was taking these pics, teya and aemond were chit chatting in live mode, which is so real. they are so CUTE i am SO excited to continue this narrative.

i am currently testing out the red keep as a rental to have multiple families there are one time on a diff save. it has been going pretty well so far, not too many crazy bugs, knock on wood.

anyways that's all for now from me!! i will probs be posting some modern au this wknd as well as maybe a few serving girls i made for the red keep??? genuinely may do a complete overhaul and make an entire world kings landing w brothels and things like that!! im thinking about it!!!

kerosims lore: these are the key members of House Lazanter, my 'OC Lannisters'. in my world I have all original houses (aside from the Targaryens), most being based on ASOIAF houses like Lannister, Velaryon, Hightower, and Baratheon. I have been struggling recently deciding if I should stick with this or just rename them all to their established ASOIAF counterparts . because there are some unique details about personality and house colors (like here subbing blue for red) that would be lost but also i feel like they overall would be more palatable?? idk lol this place a mess fr its summatime. also why does tumblr not offer a text color wheel >:(

ꕤ the confession

lady teya lannister with her ladies-in-waiting, lady celia westerling and lady oleria clegane, 129 AC

as was tradition, a hunt was hosted for aegon's nameday, despite the fact that the war was still raging. alicent insisted they needed to have one, to show the blacks that they had the war on the backburner -- that aegon was king and would be celebrated as such.

the whispers were at a head about the lannister girl and prince aemond. alicent had more than enough of the idle gossip, and during a moment alone with her children, she finally approached her son about it. quickly it turned into a heated argument about why the gossip held any weight. aegon and helaena watched silently as they went at it, each word biting.

that was until aemond spat in the heat of the moment, "and if i did wed her? what then, mother?"

the air changed instantly. it grew quiet and alicent's face was drawn into one of betrayal. it wasn't a rhetoric question like aemond had phrased it, it was a confession of something that had already been done.

meanwhile, lady teya was with her company. she chatted with celia and oleria in the dark of the night, gossiping and telling tales. knights and high lords passed the gazebo they inhabited, sending smiles and coy comments their way. despite the war, everyone seemed to be in high spirits as they were tucked into the kingswood.

the only reason i set it at the hunting camp is because i've been DYING to use @kerosims 's build. it's genuinely so perfect??? it has so many little details and i wish i could just let my sims live here. please, PLEASE, check them out.

please do NOT mind the fact that i'm trying out new formating for my posts. i am trying to make them look as seamless as possible and i don't know if i should or shouldn't be titling them??? idk my head hurts here this is enjoy muah

ps: i love how alicent is so willing to pull her grown ass kids aside to yell at them 😭😭😭😭 she is so silly to me, such a mom.

a hunting camp for the members of your royal court- features accommodations for the king and queen, princes and princesses, courtiers, and the rest. room for the party to dine together, to plot their route for the day's hunt, and to spend leisurely time as well includes a functioning kitchen, two bathing tents, six residential tents that sleep two each (king/queen, prince, princesses, 3x nobles), a communications tent, a gazebo, a stables/armory area, a campfire, tent camps for staff lodging, and the main tent which houses the tea and dining areas. I built this intended for the waterfall lot in the outdoors world but I also tried to make sure it looks good on any blank lot as well! *in order to get in and out of the wheelhouse you'll need to teleport your sim! once inside it is routable 🤍

The prince that was promised

a haze sets over the royal hunting camp on one dewy morning…

the sound of a nearby waterfall glides through the camp on the stream of the wind through the trees.

the princesses sleep soundly in their tent; a private tea party set up by their handmaidens awaits their first steps out into the morning. the prince’s tent is quiet, empty after the Targaryen men and their party of noblemen had left for the day’s hunt at dawn.

her grace, Queen Daella, retreats for a moment alone in the royal wheelhouse, parked aside the stables since their arrival at camp. she may fancy to close the doors and take her morning tea in peace here.

the past two days i’ve been like oh I totally am almost done i can post the lot download tonight then i go in and see other little tweaks i wanna make 🤥 and i simply can’t ignore them because i want it to be perfect for us 🤍😬 this is my #1 priority i want to upload it asap as soon as i know it is the best it can be. i am so excited for you to all see all of the places to hang out and every detail i have included!

the Royal Hunting Camp: a WIP

so far I have just created the main tent with the dining and sitting areas as well as the king and queen's tent (in yellow)! which actually may be downgraded to a prince's tent depending on how good the next one turns out lolz

this build is based on at least in feel by the tent seen in the (early s1) HOTD hunting party camp! such scenes as larys joining the womens' gossip circle and rhaenyra returning covered in the blo*d of that boar were seen here

i am looking for any ~'medieval royal tent related' cc~ you may know of... surely there is an abundance .... trying to figure out how to best put this together :)

yal i just had a breakthrough on how to make the tents thanks to a very helpful answered ask on here fingers crossed i could get this build done and upload this weekend !! we shall see

does anyone know of a bigger tent cc that i could use in place of these four smaller ones? i want to make a big tent with interior spaces like the one from the hotd hunting party and until now have been using this awning thing and curtains
