Made a profile picture of my protagonist Simon. He’s in culinary school so I wanted to show him with something food related.

The bunny is cracking! Just the paint though. It’s been sealed up, and not sure why it’s happening. I kinda dig it? Like I could use this in a different doll if I understood why if crackled like that. This has happened before with this doll, and I thought maybe I applied the gauche paint too thick. So I painted over with a lighter layer of gauche and sealed. However, originally I painted her white with acrylic paint as a base. I think maybe that’s the issue because none of my other dolls have experienced this with gauche (and I usually am heavy with the paint lol).

Now I must consider how to use the cracking in a design. Maybe when I’m less tired I’ll bake a few pieces of clay to test with!

Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.
