He manipulated her, tried to kill her in season one and she was saved only by Enid's unexpected transformation, and Tyler STILL tried to kill her in season two. Tyler has also injured her only two friends at Nevermore (Eugene who ended up in a coma and Enid who he scarred but she healed)

Wednesday hates Tyler.

And to the people that say "The Addams family is dark and won't mind blah blah".

Wednesday set piranhas loose on the people that bullied her brother. Morticia is actively risking her relationship with Wednesday just to try to keep her safe. Gomez fought and risked life in prison to protect Morticia from Garrett Gates.

And then you think the same family would accept someone that tried to kill one of them... TWICE?! 🤨

The Addams Family would happily destroy Tyler. They would bury him while Gomez and Morticia dance across his grave.

This isn't about wenclair or the ship arguments I see every two seconds on Twitter. This is about common sense. And this is about what MILLIONS of impressionable viewers out there are seeing. And a relationship between the main character and someone that tried to kill her twice?

I'd rather see every character on Wednesday become a Catholic Nun than for them to put their main character with someone who has actively attempted to murder her twice and injured her two friends.

I'm on twitter and... what are you talking about? I have seen absolutely no one hating Hunter. They criticize the idea of what he is saying but no one is hating on him. Post proof of that.

The things I’ve seen Wenclair fans say about Hunter on Twitter is absolutely disgusting. They were loving him a couple of days ago when he brought up their fave ship but the second he mentions Wyler/Weyler (his literal storyline & plot in the show) they’ve turned against him. I absolutely adore Hunter, he’s an amazing actor, the way he portrays Tyler is incredible and I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing him. He doesn’t deserve to be getting this much hate.

However, no, thankfully Wednesday is not an EDGY, PSYCHOPATHIC, murderous character in a random way or to make crime junkies happy.

She is yes a member of the Addams family, but after the first season she has changed.

She has evolved emotionally because of Eugene, Enid and the various experiences Wednesday has had at Nevermore.

She has a sensitive side; she is not a doll with whom to fantasize scenarios with serial killers as lovers.

She DECIDED to stay at Nevermore not only out of pride, but also to save innocent lives.

The battle against Crackstone also represents the clash between oppressed and oppressors, and Wednesday fought so that the oppressed could continue to live.

It was Wednesday who came up with the idea of BLOWING UP THE CRACKSTONE STATUE.

She is also interested in exposing the hypocrites and fighting the wicked.

Stop hammering this character, you just pity her.

So, someone posted a fic that pretended to be a Wenclair fic in the tags. But that is not the worst part. It was a cruel and hateful fic that was about the author wishing death on multiple real life Wenclair shippers and even naming them. This is truly disgusting behavior. Before anyone says "Wenclairs are also mean", just stop. That is no excuse to write fanfiction where you wish death on multiple, young, queer, and real shippers. Especially during Pride Month.
