1. What's something you like about it?

I don't usually like saying "chemistry" because of how subjective it is, but this time I can't get around the word. I really liked their banter and the way they potentialise each other both in the webisodes & the books. I like it that they can be seen as bad influences on each other without ever actually being "toxic". Their energy is entertaining. On a more profound but also interpretative aspect, I like the idea of Duchess ending up with a person who doesn't fit into any of the romantic ideals of chivalry (both positive and negative ones) that are usually associated to fairy-tale like prince hood and nobility.

2. What's something you dislike about it?

The fact it was used as bait by the official eah Facebook page and ads and then they never delivered. Also admittedly, I do sometimes dislike the way Sparrow is written so sloppily (sexism in Thronecoming vs. I WAS JUST SHOPPING FOR LADIES SHOES, his music being seen as purely obnoxious without taking into account the history and implications of punk & rock music). Oh and I sadly don't like Todd Haberkorn as his VA. Sorry. Latin American Sparrow dub supremacy.

3. What's is your headcanon about them?

I love to imagine that they usually hang out together during the Class of Classics reunion day. Duchess mother isn't coming and we know that and Maid Marian is working as a teacher (yes, Robin was assassinated by the government in my vision. I am keeping that), so Sparrow isn't too busy either. They can be envious and mildly resentful together.

4. Which one fall in love first?

Sparrow. No doubt.

5. Which one confessed first?

I honestly can't see either of them "confessing". What is there to confess? It's pretty obvious that there's some form of attachment between the two. There's no need for that.

6. What song do you associate with them?

Too Close by Sir Chloe is their post THD anthem in my opinion.

7. How should they end up?

In my version of post-canon events they are in a long distance semi-open relationship until they get to their 40s. At this point Duchess, content with the fact that she used her youth for dancing, retires from ballet and decides to go steady with Sparrow, who is probably still in the music business. Personally I don't see them getting children or legally married but I get why others like imagining that.

8. What would their typical date be like?

Have to disappoint you in that this question beats me. I loved Repulsa's grunge bar date idea (1,2) as you already know and I really liked talking to you about the possible date nights but sadly I am not very creative when it comes to this.

9. What characters from their universe would support or hate their relationship?

Maid Marian & Fay would probably be really supportive (albeit Fay would tease the hell out of Sparrow), but I'm pretty sure Duchess' grandmother would go no contact with her. Tucker would be sceptical but not outwardly against it. Wolfdancer & Tuckthan would be too self-aware to judge them. Lizzie would judge them hard though.

10. If they could be drawn as any classical/ iconic romance scene from a movie or a show, what scene would it be?

Confessing to cringe: I watched the first ~3 seasons of the Spanish trashy tv show Elite and the more it progressed the least I liked it but there was this scene between Nadia & Valerio in which he sneaked on to her while she was sleeping, exhausted from studying, blew air on her nape and then berated her for falling asleep at school because "that's my thing". They are not romantically involved but I liked them better than their canon lis. Anyway, I can very much picture Sparrow doing the exact same thing on her and I don't know many classical romance scenes. This one isn't even canonically romantic. Sorry.

11. Why should or shouldn't they be together?

Should arguments:

He was a punk, she did ballet

Duchess always seems amused when they are seen together. Their energy tends to be warm towards each other

Partners in villainy

Bird-motif that a majority of my ships share. Birds of a feather flock together

Should not:

He was a punk, she did ballet, but if people would listen to the end of the song they'd realise they didn't end up together

They (probably) met in high school

They have backstabbed each other multiple times

She once saw him blow soda out of his nose

12. What is your favourite scene with them

None really but I'll go for an underrated one. The Epic Winter scene is very cute to me because of how casual it is. + I'm pretty sure you can hear Duchess say "We're gonna do" before it cuts to another scene, which makes me want to believe she had plans for them.

Sparchess have a more interesting dynamic to me!! They r like soulmates level of doing crimes and bailing each other out. Also it’s canon in the yearbook that Duchess’s partner-in-villainy is Sparrow and we all love that trope ❤️🙏 Also, the angst potential? The situationship? The break-up arc and finding their way back together? Why yes sign me the fuck UP🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 They can fix each other but can also harm each other so bad also they r both FREAKS 🔥🔥🔥
