All of this except Reaper is a million times better than Audacity (I say this as an Audacity stan.) Reaper is as close as it's possible to get to open-source ProTools, the $60 dollar price tag can be delayed indefinitely (the developers made it with an unlimited trial), and it's just great all around- aside from being pure ugly to look at, which honestly I stopped minding after the first year I used it.
