Alrighty! Here is a quick introduction to my Oc, Evie! I'll keep it abridged because I want you guys to help me out with a little decision for her!

Evie is in her 20s. She is witty, lively, and friendly. At first glance she can seem a little guarded, using playful sarcasm and doesn't seem to take people very seriously. but underneath it, she truly is introspective and compassionate

Evie's story is tied into Tim's. She met him when they were both teenagers in a long-term residential mental hospital. She was admitted due to a severe eating disorder that stemmed from grooming and sexual assault at the hands of a grown man. But at first glance, it would be hard to guess. Despite her emo attire and nerdy interests, she was a cheerleader with a positive outlook. She was a social butterfly who ran DND campaigns in the common room. Believing she would be a good influence on him, Evie was actually asked by a nurse to introduce herself to Tim and try to help him come out of his shell. He had been isolating himself more than usual, and it worried the staff. He was cold to her for a few days, often just half-listening to the cheerful, emaciated girl while she rambled on and on about her favourite bands, stories from her cheer team, her favourite movies and anime and silly videos she found on NewGrounds. But when she eventually managed to mention something they had a mutual interest in, he finally peaked out of his shell and began to be a bit more perceptive. Once he let her in, they clicked in an instant. By the time she had to leave, they were experiencing a mutual puppy love. But they lost contact quickly after she was discharged due to her living in a different state.

They reunited as adults under the Operator. As an adult, Evie had grown to be a freelance coder. She was found by Jay, who asked her to try to trace the location of videos sent by ToTheArk, or at least find any sort of hints of the identity. While searching, Evie noticed the familiar figure in the videos. A figure Tim had described often, one she could've sworn she saw in the corner of her eye out the window while she was with him. But she assumed it was a shared delusion between two ill teenagers. It awakened a paranoia in her that she hadn't felt since she lived in those cinderblock rooms.

What happens next in her story depends on if it's purely in a Marble Hornets context or if creepypasta is involved. But either way, she begins to attempt to flee and finds Tim again.

My brain is absolutely melting at the fact that in The Odyssey, Odysseus says he rats out his crew for eating Helios'a cows and his crew is killed by Zeus but in Epic Zeus gives him a choice between the lives of his entire crew or his own and he chooses his own. Like there's so many things here. Epic is in third person but The Odyssey is told by Odysseus. I love the idea of Odysseus being an unreliable narrator. Like. Nooooo, you mean to tell me the grandson of Autolycus, an infamous liar and thief, and the great grandson of Hermes, god of liars, tricksters, and theives, is an unreliable narrator? Wow. If only we could find out from the way he tells his own story that he's a notorious liar because he admits lying to gods, monsters, and people. But what about the things he wouldn't admit? Or even the things he cant accept happened? Like how losing the lives of the rest of his crew was his choice?

Or even better yet, Zeus only gave Odysseus the choice because he knew Odysseus would choose himself over his crew
