FEMININE MIST BY BEAUTY LIBRARY

Is it worth the hype? 

First time I saw this ad, I actually never thought what is the use? I thought you were supposed to spray it after you poop like a perfume, like an after math so that it wouldn’t smell. And then, I told one of my friends about it before I got the products or before I actually talk to the pr. Did a little research and I guess it’s real good? 

Before I tried it down there, I sprayed it in a tissue just to kind of examine it a little bit. I believe what’s on the internet (not always tho) but I had to see for myself what it gives.

After a while I got used on using it. I actually didn’t notice that it was always inside my bag, it’s in my pocket and you know ready to be used. I am always on the run and I think its good that I don’t have to bring wipes with me in the bathroom sometimes.

— i prefer that smaller one just because it’s really handy and i really could bring anywhere. (and cheaper)

— the mist green tea (blue green) is what I’m currently using, I did try the pink one but i kinda liked the blue green. well, it kinda adds some cooling effect.

— packaging? super cute. that’s the tea.

If i’m gonna rate this, i’d give it a 5/5. It works well, doesn’t leave an odor, feels really good hahaha. and it doesn’t cost you that much. The small bottle has been with me for weeks now and still kicking. For me, i’d say it is worth the hype.

AWESOME PORESOME BY SNOE BEAUTY

Taking care of my skin was the biggest mistake I did. Because I didn’t. I didn’t care about my skin, how it looks like, what i eat (that it actually affects my skin, stupid 16 year old me) and now, that I realized that I should, I guess it’s kind of late.

Comparing on how my skin looks like before and now, now sucks. I mean, I don’t have a lot of issues but there are still some flaws. Well, that doesn’t really go but insecurities. *sigh* there will be a day though, that i will love my skin but that discussion is for another day.

I focus my skincare products on what I actually need. I’ve said a lot of times on instagram and basically its just cleansing & moisturizing. I don’t do a lot. Well because my skin hates a lot. Sometimes I can go for cleansing-something that helps me clean my face more-mask-moisturizer and that’s it. So, right now I’m going to share to you some products I RECENTLY used and been trying to see how it affects my skin. I received these products from SNOE BEAUTY. (well i think you already know that because of the title but lemme do it ok)

*i took pictures before i actually use it because it might get all dirty and i might lose something (again)* lol i was so excited to try the serum that day :-(

First off, packaging.

Everything is so damn cute. The box looks so fab, like the madam itself *winks* It’s really spacious and I can reuse it! Every product is sealed properly and very compact. I think it’s a nice way to keep your Skincare on tract even when you’re travelling. Addition to that, the design looks so cool. I’m a sucker on these kinds of things, i know.

Scent: every product has the same scent, i usually hate products that has a scent but this one did not hurt my nose hahahah. and it goes away after . a few seconds and depends on how much you put.

Now the Products: First, the MINIMIZING POWER CLEANSER 399php Vs. the MINIMIZING BEAUTY BAR 299php

I kind of compared the beauty bar and the cleanser on what it did to my skin and what it felt like. but both did a great job at lessening the appearance of having pores. Although I liked the beauty bar more because my skin felt MORE refreshed and smooth. Same thoughts with the cleanser but, it’s just that the beauty bar gave my skin a little more boost than the other so... hope y’all get me.

I used the beauty bar in the morning and then the cleanser at night and then switch the routine after two days.

MINIMIZING AND CLARIFYING TONIC 399php

I haven’t used a toner for months, i swear, months. My skin felt so relieved when I used it! It felt cool and one spray usually does the trick. I don’t usually like toners because some are harsh but this one doesn’t seem to irritate my skin.

MICRODERMABRASION RETEXTURING POLISH 399php

Just so y’all know, I didn’t know that this boy does so I searched because i dont wanna fight with my skin hahaha. It’s not really harsh on the skin and I used it once a week only because, as i said, I use it only when needed and i don’t feel like I need to do it everyday. I feel like I’m repeating this but after I use it though, I feel so refreshed and squeaky clean. :-(

PORE PERFECT SERUM 499php

The last but my favorite product of all, the serum. I super excited to try this that I frickin lost the cap. clumsy self. Anyway I was actually scrolling and looking for nice serums and then the next morning the package came. I really think he heard me. I was dying to try this and y’all!!!! It’s so good! My skin feels so smooth and somewhat glossy too! The appearance of pores did lessen. good riddance lol

As you can see, I really had fun testing them out and my rate goes to 5/5. I mean for something that doesn’t wreck your pockets, it kicks ass. Awesome poresome really is awesome. hahaha! I definitely recommend this if you’re up on trying something new. The first Korean concept optical shop in the Philippines, Starfinder Optical, released a whole new nifty and hypoallergenic specs last April 8, 2019. The brand developed the eyewear, which is made from special materials, to help customers prevent allergic reaction during usage. The brand is continuously doing research to come up with the best quality eyeglasses that is also fashionable to everyone.

The newly-released specs, Spika, is an edgy eyewear fit for people who want to standout. The product was exclusively developed in South Korea, which is a one-of-a-kind specs that is both hypoallergenic and lightweight. In addition, it is made from various special materials such as Titanium and Stainless steel that make it extremely durable. Jacob Song, Marketing Manager, stated, “Because of high demand for hypoallergenic eyewear, the brand decided to produce this revolutionary product to help people prevent allergic reaction while wearing our eyeglasses.” The eyewear is available in different colors such as Gold, Silver, Copper and Rose Gold. The brand also considers Spika as part of an all-star lineup that offers a wide variety of styles, which is not produced and not being offered by other optical companies. A pair of Spika frames plus specialized lenses cost only P1,890.

Korean Skin care & Makeup.

Urban dollkiss is a korean makeup and skin care that resides in cebu philippines. I;ve received six products from them (Urban City Liptone tint, Urban City Brow gel tint, and that’s what we are gonna review right now.

URBAN CITY BROW GEL TINT — 480php

kinda had a hard time putting it on but i think it’s great when you want to recreate those hair-like structures for your brows. Well i think that its because of the wand, the wand is not a spoolie, its like the one you use in your nail polish. Yup, that one. Well its a tint not a brow mascara. just giving a heads up.

URBAN CITY LIP TONE — 400php

the packaging is super cute, i really liked it. well if you know me, i taste whatever i put on my lips and trust me when i say that this tasted like cherry. the shade is pretty nice and it’s perfect for those ombre–korean lips.

URBAN DOLLKISS BLACK DEVIL EXPERT ALL IN ONE MASCARA — 350php

The wand is flexible, learned that its a good thing that it is (learned that from rai contawi — love her) it’s not sticky, not heavy, and gives me that longer lashes that i always try to opt for hahaha!

URBAN CITY STICK HIGHLITER — 680php

The highlighter is so easy to use, the twisty thing down below does it job. Well, it gives you enough products while you twist it. Hahahah! did you get me? The highlighter is my fave from all of these products though. I like that it gives you that “bomb” highlight look. 

BAVIPHAT PEACH AND AVOCADO JUICY MASK SHEET — 50php each

it gave the absolute moisture i needed that day and perfect for on the go situations when you need to go somewhere and look prepared even though you’re really not prepared... hahaha! I hate fruits but i really liked the smell.

What’s up kid, ya missed me? 

Well i hope you all know i missed you and so is writing and this kind of episodes. I missed knocking out the list of I what I hunt. or just knocking down every thing that is “in” that list. wow, getting vulnerable are we? Anyhoo, let’s rock on this.

I know right? What’s happening to my choices of clothes. I mean where the am I? HAHAHA! Well, it started years ago with this kickin ass style and i got deeper and deeper until i got stuck and sucked from the black hole that it is. I love everything oldie. Man, if i can go back and live in that moment, i’ll do it. hahaha! 

Sunnies Agenda VOL. #5 from Sunnies Studios — I’ve been hoarding their agendas and i love it. every design. damn. more. periods. the speed racer one is cute too and i can’t really choose between the two so i’m thinking i’m just gonna give that to my sister as a gift. Yup, i’m exposing it since she doesn’t read here. i don’t want her to.

Sunnies Face Fluffmate in Vacay  — This is actually the only one shade left that i have my eye on. Though i don’t have ‘em all but this is like the last thing that suits me? Plus I really want to hoard everything that i have agin just because of the frosty packaging. *cries in my sleep*

Ring Light — Okay i told myself that i wouldn’t buy one but man, the sunlight is always outrunning me and what is up with that?! 

Faux Patent Leather Ankle Boots From Forever 21 — I don’t know if they have the same one here in the Philippines since the server i used was from us and I do hope they have it here ‘coz your killer queen would die just to get this baby. Just look at it, on fiiiireeee. *insert the fire emoji here, i can’t find mine*

MIRO Charcoal full Sunglasses from Sunnies Studios — I do have the one in brown... but you know... just can’t get enough can’t ya? Okay sue me alright?! I’d definitely looooook awesome *coughs* more awesome i mean with ‘em charcoal. Right? Tell me if i’m wrong, i don’t wanna shame myself. Hahaha!

Faux Patent Leather Mini Skirt — yup, still not located in our country, still hoping we do have this. don’t kill me, i told you already, i got sucked alright? freakin self.

Vinyl Record Player — Do i even have to explain? Kidding. I just wanted to hoard all the records I want to listen to entire my life before they all fade. Some of the record stores i know are closing and going on with their life and i just cant settle with the thought of not having any of them. I always thought that someday i might buy since they are always there and lol classics?! but i guess i was wrong. so screw me and screw being so lazy all the time, not working her ass off to get what she dreams of. 

Annnd there ya go. I know it’s pretty weird but that’s what I want this year. I hope i gank ‘em. Well i know i will. ‘coz my inspiration is fading away from me and i gotta go and get them back. Thank y’all for keeping keeping up with me every now and then. I do hope to see you soon.

TESTING PRODUCTS WITH SAMPLE ROOM

I guess there’s no harm in trying.

Sample room has been here for a long time now. Even I signed up there before because there are certain products that I would really want to know about. I find it really awesome that they thought of letting people share their insights about a certain product, they let you rate it, they let you try it for free, at first. Well, it’s because you have a number points, a hundred points actually. Then you have to earn it back. Okay I’ll teach you how.

First of course you register, then you get that 100 points. Choose whatever product you want as long as its a hundred or below.  Check-out, pay for the shipping then bam. There ya go lad, test all you want, comment your reviews on sampleroom’s site to earn your awesome points back.

anyhoo, i’ve got some products to test that sample room gave. Let’s just see right through it. (Still not good with words)

BELO SUN EXPERT

I go naked under the sun everyday (man when i said naked i didn’t mean like i was really naked but just without the umbrella thing) and having something to protect me from the sun is great when you’re lazy. Let’s face it, i’m a douche. 

I love how non-sticky it is and how they swore that it is not. Doing your job (correctly) these days are important (im not saying before it was not but there was this meme that popped into my head “you had one job)

GLUTA C

I’m not a kid who is addicted to getting a lighter skin or anything. (im not saying that im against it but you get me, right?) I love my color. I stay on what it is, it may enhance or whatever, i may not now ‘coz hell I ain’t doing anything that will houdini that kind of crap. But, I used this. Just because recently i went to coron and dived the hell through there. I lost count on how many hours I was under the sun but my skin color changed. 

I would settle I say but I just remembered that my skin color was from A to D. (not saying lighter to darker just saying that it jumped 3x times wtf did i do when i was in coron..) Of course my foundation and powders doesn’t work. Hello, I’d be looking like a clown who didn’t blend up to his neck. Then I remembered sample room gave me treat, and it was the GLUTA C SOAP. Well I know that will help. 

I used it for weeks, some nights i would try and do some lotioning but I know it wouldn’t last but it helped. I was like from D to B real quick. Hahaha! Well just saying that it works and gluta c does have a lotion in there brand that inhibits melanin and stuff so if you want to go and get back on your color, that would rock your world.

Just one thing that I don’t like, i think its the smell. I don’t know if its just my bar but it smells manly. I don’t know, im weird.

POND’S FLAWLESS RADIANCE 

I like that this product is soooo moisturizing. Everyday i applied it for 2 weeks and yes i felt that “moist”. Hahaha! I applied it at night too and my skin looks more pinkish with bare looks. It’s not stick though sometimes when I sweat my face feels slippery, I don’t is it just me? Someone tell me down below if it happens to you or just me.

CREAM SILK DAMAGE CONTROL

If you haven’t seen my super straight and sleek hair on instagram, go check it. HAHAHA! I would insert my cream silk GIF here but i’m too shy. Anyway, I’m just saying that I’m an avid user of cream silk ever since wild west and heck this is my fave!! over that other six ones, this is my fave. I swear this never failed me. 

It smells so good. (check)

My not so damaged but kinda dry hair is not so dry anymore. (check)

Can i just say that (check) because i love nadine lustre? hahaha! fite me :(

I’m just saying that it works. You should really try it.

SOOPER BEAUTE’S SO MATTE LIPSTICKS

I’ve been creating looks with sooper beaute’s tints and of course i’d love to see more.

I collaborated with sooper beaute and they sent me their SO MATTE LIPSTICKS and LIP AND CHEEK ROLLY — All stated below are my true say about the products.

This is my first time toying around with their SO MATTE LIPSTICKS. I could say that their shades are in the nude and those are the only lipsticks i put my dibs on. With barely looking at them, they look like a freakin lip balm, well its actually a lip balm, it’s lightweight, bringing them to school won’t give me any hassle or any place that i might go crazy, it will not bother me if it breaks because i know it wont?

The only thing I’m worried about is that some lip balms, when you turn (the thing at the bottom where you control the product’s coming out) until it to their limit—ish, it might not come back to the container. Well 1/5 is like that.Though, in the packaging they stated that it may end up like that since lip balms are sort of you know... like that....

Still, checking on the shades, swatching them on my forearm, they are pretty awesome. There is craze line on the top of draco and it sorta affected how they would feel on my lips and definitely on how the would appear on my lips. Could I be more precise?

I’d rate my so matte lipsticks 4.5 out of 5. Everything is adorbs, the colors, the packaging itself plus the price. You cannot fool the price.

UGH, BORED

“You’re grounded spence! Stay at home or pack up your damn bags!”

Clearing things that may lead into some serious misunderstandings, my dad didn’t really say that. I just turned it into some “my-dad’s-scary-side-that-i-wouldn’t-really-want-to-see” kinda thing. I wanted to study outside for my tests tomorrow but he requested that I shouldn’t since my sisters aren’t home and prongs and lily (mom and dad) are gonna be out on a date. So, he suggested that I should just study at home.

DRINKS ON ME FT. SOLA ICED TEA

*chants* “chug chug chug!”

Nope. Not a freakin beer post. Just an Iced tea. Oh wait, wait. The Iced tea. —

Well if you know me enough, you would definitely know that I don’t drink all the teas in the world. Including milk teas, green teas, granola teas (idk is there any?) and iced teas. I mean i don’t drink EVERY iced tea. 

After years of living on earth, I discovered that it’s because I don’t like the taste of mixing rice and some flavored H2O. I mean, I eat rice most of the time and i wouldn’t want the drink to alter the taste and the cravings. I don’t like adding more flavors to what I’m already dealing with. Yeah, call me picky, bite me. So yeah — The thing is, I would rather grab a water whilst having my favorite meal, soda can do but still, water. 

Additional crap that you may really wanna get yourself out of this blog —

I know house parties have those beers and vodkas, but if you’re like me, who’s not really in a robust situation of slacking off, drinking boozes while snacking pizzas, you should have always a good back up. Why am I teaching kids how to drink? Get a hold of yourself. 

Anyway Though besides that sola can be a freakin chaser, sola has been kicking asses, this is in a freakin can now (we know kim, ancient) Makes my life a lot easier though, its lesser, cheaper than the bottled one, not heavier, you can also drink this while having a meal or eating some snack, probably when your on the go, not liking the chaser your friend offers (kidding be grateful and drink moderately) late for work because, yes. It’s in a freaking can.

On behalf of me saying to you guys a gazillion times about the teas vs kim, I thank thor for letting me take the risk and pushing me to drink this. It was such a toothsome drink. This is something I won’t dodge every now and then coz hell it really taste so damn good. 

Sola iced tea has 7 different flavors now,  Sola Lemon Iced Tea, Sola Peach Iced Tea, Sola Raspberry Iced Tea, Sola Apple Iced Tea, Sola Orange Iced Tea, Sola Strawberry Iced Tea and Sola Apple Iced Green Tea.

FWEAKY FWIIDAY

Lemme hear it again. What you say?

I love rock. Damn, I love it. And this look, this look is an absolute stunning get-up I’ve been dying to do ever since I was a kid. You see, I’ll always picture myself as how lindsay lohan was, (that lindsay lohan alright see pic below) Mary–Kate Olsen in New York minute or as roxy ryan, and of course, Avril lavigne in a school being the “unpopular kid in detention who doesn’t really do her homework and just goof around”. Yeah, I’ve always wanted to wear and be this kid in school. Which I’m not…-ish. Well, I dont know. I’m damned. 

I love avril, totally her sk8terboi phase. Oh man, undeniably beautiful.

Oh how i wish i could wear anything in school, and i’ll rock this thing. Hell yeah, I will. Hahah! People always say that this look is emo or weird. But no, this look is amazing and I’m glad I’m wearing my childhood dream.This look is different and that makes it lovely in its own way.

THE ESPOIR PLAYLIST VOL. 1

Espoir — hope.

It’s been a while since i felt something positive crawling out from the bottom of my guts. I’ve never really had any positive options or thoughts because hell, im damned. that is what pretty much what consumes my mind; not to others, but to myself.

You don’t know how hard it is to look in a freakin mirror and hate what the hell you see. The urge coming through my stomach, my mind saying “go punch it.”

Then again i ain’t here to discuss this crap. I’m here to tell you that, after several years, it has been a long, long time since there was a pinpoint of  positivity felt by this damned kid. HOW TO INSTAGRAM

As promised.

Dealing with instagram’s crap is one of the things I'm worried about—before. Yet since I finally, finally knew what the damn hell you should do to kick instagram's ass. Though trust me, i was really bummed at friest because i can't seem to do it like they do. So first, I'm teaching you my steps on how you should do it.

First, inhale and exhale. Don't freakin panic or be sad because you dont do it like they do. DONT COMPARE.

Second, FIND YOUR MOOD. Your instagram mood depends on the colors you put on your feed. Like these:

Those are just some of the greatest color combinations I see online. Go find your inspiration.

Third, always remember that your selfies are not a feed ruiner. Go post them bomb selfies, just find find the best filter that suits them.

Use Picture fillers. Of course at some point, you cant take a selfie or youre out of one. So you got to balance it out. Go post some, places, foods, flatlays of your favorite stuff. Let them judge, its your instagram.

Find the filter/s you could go on and choose from. Of course 1 filter wouldn't fit in all kinds of pictures, you can always go for another one. Of course you will run back to the type of mood you want to have. Dg razon did a filter thing on his blog and i'll be linking it down below so you could check them out.

Always find the perfect lighting. Some says mornings are good for shoots and around 5-6 if you want that night feed. If you dont have light, you can always go for some back up with you friends. *winks* or maybe if youre alone, get a lampshade. Hahahaha! That works on me bitch.

Optional: go for a another instagram account where you can post what you want to post before you post it. — WHAT? Hahahaha. I mean, you can make this trial account where you can see if the picture you want to post will look good. Just remember, don't match the last post you did on your original account on to the trial account. 

Or your trial instagram will be blocked.

The last but not the least. Be more you. Make your instagram feed something that you'll love, something you always want to see when you post. You wouldn’t like a  instagram feed where you post stuff just to fit in, right? That wouldn’t feel great either.

I hope you guys liked my "how to instagram" though. I created these steps because I was really bummed out of how crappy my instagram was before, but then if you find whatever the hell is out there that you really love, you'll be good, for yourself.

Here's how i edit my photos:

i use the filter i like

Then I adjust the exposure if needed.

I adjust the contrast sometimes low sometimes high

Put some grain

Then Adjust the Saturation if needed.

COLOURETTE TINT

As a kid who's influenced by the asian and the western culture (im really torn because i love both) the looks i usually do are mixed.

Since when I was young, around 12 i guess; I loved playing around with makeups. I watch the american, and the asian youtubers of how they do their makeup and I still dont know which look I should give a try. Well, since I grew up digging about the two of them, rather than choosing between the two, I tried mixing them.

Colourette tints are so easy to apply, they have the tint looked like a cute nail polish! Hahahaha, its like the benefit's benetint though. First they look glossy and all, which id really like if they will make one. (Im not a fan of glossy stuff but the first apply looks so great) then after awhile it turns matte. As I see it though.

It has 3 colors, Dione, Lana & Thalia.

This has the orange-y tone but not too dark? This is one of my favorites though. This one is called DIONE.

The second one is this Pink tone one called LANA. Pink doesn’t fit me that well but I hope I pulled this one off.

The last shade is called THALIA which has a lighter tone than the one seen in the bottle. I really loved this one! Gives me some ~ korean vibes ~

Good news though, They upgraded their container! This one is much bigger than the ones I showed you earlier. Still, same shades.

For the make up that I did, I'm using:

Colourette cosmetics' eyebrow pencil in brown Colourette lipstick in devon and colourette tint for my eyes Colourette tint in for my cheeks
