During this week's episode, I found myself squinting at Sonic more than usual so I'm curious as what the general consensus in the fandom is given what we've seen so far:

Some posts about Kim and how he never asked for any of this to happen to him are funny to me. I guess I will have to disagree in some way. It may not be something he was not actively looking for, but let's not forget he is a racer and so he is looking for some adrenaline rush. You could tell me he is only looking for that on the tracks. However, Kim is falling/caring for Kenta in this season and it just proves he kinda like relationship based on intense experiences. Let's sum up, Kim met Kenta when he first came to Thailand to race for Tony's team and ended up caught in Tony's shady business. He was kidnapped and beaten up. Kenta was the one who pulled a knife to his throat. We've seen worse first impression for a future lover, but it's already something. Kim, actively tried to help the X-Hunter before joining them too. We know he is some with a high sense of justice and can't turn a blind eyes to violence and abuse. He has to act. Kim may not be a special alpha, someone with great abilities or a spy/assassin, but he is someone who will always act in accordance with his values no matter what. Since he discovered Tony's shady business and abuses, he has always acted against him as much as he can.

That's why in this second season he agreed to care for Kenta and hide him, despite their rocky first encounter, in the first season. Kim is intelligent and he is also rational. That's why he is someone you can lean on and trust. It's shown in the way he was the one Alan turned to when he had to talk about what was troubling him. We could say Kim has emotional intelligence. However, it doesn't deter me from saying he is also someone who likes the rush or the thrill of the adrenaline. This is something he finds when he races and now he is also finding it in his relationship with Kenta. He knows about his past and has seen him in action. Of course, he knows Kenta is not a mindless henchman. Spending time together has probably helped him understand him better. As for Kenta finally being considered and cared for is something quite new. I bet it surprises him every time. It is going to create a mutual like, taking an interest, conscientiousness, empathy and consideration of each other's needs which will lead to the love they will have for each other.

Kim finds in Kenta something and someone he is looking for and it is mutual. If Kim wasn't into this type of relationship, I don't think he would have romantic feelings for Kenta. He would care for him, but not ultimately fall in love with him. Again, Kim never asked to end up in Tony's shady business, but he could have left after season 1 and he stayed anyway. He said he wants to go back to Korea, but he agreed to take Kenta in his house so this plan will not happen. I feel like now that he has feelings for Kenta, he will do everything to ensure his safety. I wouldn't want to be the person standing in between. Kim is someone that can take a risk and not be afraid. That's why he is a good racer too.

So I've found the absolute PERFECT song to describe Sorn and Jun's journey from situationship to relationship. Now the question is: do I love the parallels enough to venture into the world of learning how to effectively make an FMV?

I love that Thada has decided to meet Armin's cuckoo-bananas time travel talk with his own equally unhinged sincerely tender soulmate-isms.

And just like Thada rolls with all the timey-wimey stuff with a smile, Armin is soaking up Thada's "let me be important to you forever" talk with the softest smiles and gratitude and by matching his tender-horny pining.

Incredible dynamic, I love them so much.
