#dean martin#dude#rio bravo#Half of the reference photo I used had shadows‚ so I tried to incorporate them. I think I usually skip them and guess what's underneath#I liked the look of this one after I darkened the outside stroke‚ but then the lines inside were too light‚ so I make the whole thing dark#I'm very happy with this one as well‚ but his eyes were a bit of a struggle and drawing good stubble is impossible#I like the bits of hair peaking out on the sides of his head :]#my art#traditional art

I got a new phone last week after 7 years with my old one‚ so I'm still getting used to this#Clicking back and forth between the hyperlink and my drawing and trying to ignore all of my mistakes...#I'm actually really happy with my drawing though!!! So many of the 4077's problems would've been solved if they got a cat. Cold? Kitty acts like a little furnace at night. Rats? Kitty has free meals and the pests go away. Crippling depression and ptsd from the horrors you see daily? Petting cats has been shown to reduce anxiety and improve mental health!
Also imagine all the shenanigans Klinger would use the cat for when trying to get out of the army. Nothing to annoy or hurt the cat but he just hold the cat up to Potter and goes "GOD IS SPEAKING TO ME THROUGH THIS CREATURE" and the cat just. Blinks.

I drew all of these within the span of an hour and was unable to keep a consistent artstyle

#dean martin#jerry lewis#I'm so‚ so close to making my sideblog's pfp the Dean with a rose#I love doodling with crayons#I struggled so much with Jerry's hands that I just decided to cut one out of the drawing#The 3rd drawing looks a bit strange because I purposefully made my lines less flowy-#-because I knew I couldn't capture Jerry's expression realistically#I have like 4 photos of Dean in that redish vest thing and I need more. I love that outfit so much#Not to happy with his expression in my last drawing but the thing is I didn't use the reference when I drew his face-#-so it shouldn't be exactly like the picture anyway#I noticed i got a few new followers recently (thank you all so‚ so much for joining me) and I'm not sure if all of you know about these-#-essays i write in the tags. It's 100% not necessary to read all this since this is usually self-critique and info for me to look back on#But yeah‚ I very rarely have less than 5 tags. My sincerest apologies if this is annoying
