enough ed bullshit. coquette has never been about eds and ive let so many ED dogwhistles slip past. the body checks, the diet coke and cigarette posts (we arent stupid we know what that means), “esoteric waifs” you all have no concern or respect for the people not suffering from EDs because this kind of behavior is what introduces healthy people to this dangerous illness. and you all doubly have no respect for those who have recovered and are trying their best to live a healthy life. we have had multiple girls relapse horribly to the point one of our members is currently in the hospital. and you all do not care as to how you are contributing. we have always been a welcome space for people of all sizes, and no one should feel like they’re being assaulted with pro ana content because for some reason yall have decide its “aesthetic’ and needs to be shared with the world “not pro only for myself” doesnt count when ur asking for ana coaches or being rude to people asking you to not post this is a public tag or when you ask for tips on how to maintain your illness. my patience is up my kindness it up my sympathy has run out. coquette has never been about eating disorders. it has never been a glorification of such. we now have the reputation of being a pro ed subculture. do you not see how that effects not only potential coquettes but those of us have been here for years? this must fucking stop. i am done. any and all blogs posting pro ana content will not only be blocked but reported multiple times. there is a clear difference from someone who is simply struggling and one who glamourizes their struggling with no regards to others. you can kill yourselves til your teeth rot and youre tubefed in a hospital. do not make that anyone elses problem
hii !! im irene (16) im not new to tumblr but i decided to start a blog to talk about life, books, music, dreams… if you want to be my moot follow me i fb <3 some things about me: i love taylor swift, phoebe bridgers, lorde and lana del rey , my favorite season is fall, i love annotating books and i crave academic validation… that’s it okay bye <3 !
“you’re not like other girls” i’m exactly like other girls; i listen to taylor swift religiously, my favorite lana del rey album is born to die, i love books about deeply flawed women, i have multiple secret blogs tiktoks and instagrams, my favorite shoes are converse, i only shop at brandy melville, i collect vinyls and love walking around in the rain with my wired headphones, i wear jewelry that i made, i crave academic validation, i only wear tote bags… i’m the definition of girls.
i want to be a girlblogger not in a "romanticizes mental illness, is deep into an ed and normalizes such topics" but in a "let's talk about cute clothes, the music we like and the books we enjoyed, let's talk about our problems without feeling the need to be always sad and try to find solutions for those problems also trying to get better if we are struggling with mental illness/serious problems, lets make recovery cool again"
