My Fitness Journey in Retrospect
Here is just a sample of the different phases that I have undergone in order to achieve some sort of weight loss success.. However; I am still in progress and working towards a better goal.. Toning and building muscle.
My Diet and Workout Regimen
Phase I
In order to achieve this goal Catrice used the following methods:
Change in Diet (Including more vegetables, fruits tons of water) Minimal Fast Foods
A 4 day workout schedule (Elliptical trainer and Treadmill)
Green Tea Supplement (Or just plain Green Tea)
Phase II
Change in Diet
Little to no meat (I utilized a Pescatarian Vegetarian Diet
Special Vegetarian detoxing foods
Vegetarian Spaghetti (made with Boca Meat, Gluten Free Whole Wheat Noodles and Spaghetti Sauce)
Detoxing/Cleansing – Do this under a physicians care (I detoxed for health reasons as well as spiritual cleansing)
Master Cleanse
Workout Regimen
Cardio, Cardio, Cardio
Treadmill Intervals
Stairmaster Intervals
Phase III
Change in Diet (Higher protein diet, less carbs)
White Fish (Tilapia, Whiting and Flounder)
Salmon
Vegetables
A gallon- A gallon and a half a day
Workout Regimen
Developing Muscle mass ( I utilized resources like bodybuilding.com and Fitness Magazine)

Eating Clean Day #2
I am finally in a position where I see some results however, I had to change my diet AGAIN to reflect that of one who is really looking to build muscle. Eating clean, I've been told is the way to go. Today is Day #2 of this Eating Clean process. I am hungrier than ever before however I feel more energized and charged. I am ready to hit the gym. One more meal to go before I hit the gym.

When in doubt~ Workout... This is my new motto... Folks are driving me bananas in the office today, so I have to make it a point to just say "Fuck It" I can't wait until Spin Class Tonight!!!!!! Operation Spin in full effect this evening....

New Fitness Challenge
So I officially have less than 2 months before I hit the sunny beaches of Miami and hit the Carnival Cruise ship for an 8 day getaway. Of course this means changing my fitness goals AGAIN and developing a brand new regimen that will assist in this process.
Diet for today:
Breakfast
2 Scrambled eggs& 4 Egg whites
Turkey bacon
Lunch
Grilled Salmon with olive oil
Ceasar Salad
Snack
Peanut Butter Crackers
Dinner
Crabcake
Ceasar Salad
Broccoli
Plenty of H20!!!!!!!!
Todays workout
Cardio:
25 min Walk/jog/sprint interval training on the treadmill- 300 calories
45 min on the stairmaster- burned over 600 calories
Weights:
Forearm dumbbell workout
Rowing machine interchanging arms
Ab Workout
Basic crunches- 30 crunches
Oblique Crunches- 40 reps on each side
TRaining mean is the way to go!!! Lets get it people...

Addicted to Spin!
So I am on week number 4 with taking Spin at my gym; I must say I am strikingly addicted to it. You see I began my weight loss journey a few years ago, I was a whopping 310lbs. Since the start of this process I have lost a considerable amount of weight however, I run into plateaus on a bi-annual basis. My sister is a Pilates instructor and one of my good friends teaches Zumba however I never found my niche until now. All Hail to Spin!!!
