Facebook Broken Standards
So I have discovered that Facebook’s AI system determines if something is against “community standards” by the slang used, yep it’s the specific words you use and not the context of those words. Slang will get you in trouble while threatening people’s lives is okay so long as it doesn’t contain slang.
Also do not post any product information for anything unless you buy ad space, even if you aren’t actually selling said product. That will also result in suspension.
I was recently suspended for trying to help someone because I used slang, I’ve seen others suspended for posting links to mental health, some have been suspended for reviewing products. But they allow misinformation on there as well as planning violence against political leaders, and all they have to do is not use specific slang words to evade banning.
At least Twitter works against those, even though their bot system is broken as well.

How does #Seattle treat #disabled people? You've probably never asked because it's so easy to assume that they treat us well, but that is not the case.We are forced to live in the inner city, where prices for food are so high it can cost us half a month's income just for a single meal. We have no laundry facilities if our apartments do not offer them, and that's not even the worst part.I live in a building owned by Compass Housing Alliance, and for five years my apartment was continually flooded by junkies and plumbing issues. The one time they did actually clean it up, which was the third time it was flooded (it's been flooded another 8 times since), most of my apartment was gone for a full year and my neighbor and I had no wall between us.Days like yesterday the mold gets so bad I get headaches and blurry vision, but when I complain to CHA I get "we're working on it" even after five years. When I complain to Seattle Housing Authority I get "there's a lottery last month".Yep, that's what poor people are stuck with, lotteries and being ignored. Being disabled is hell, pure torture and inhumane treatment from pretty much everyone, even in #Seattle. But no one ever cares, no one even listens to us, no one actually does shit to help us. Instead we get stupid phrases like "thoughts and prayers" and bread crumbs tossed at our feet.Humanity doesn't care about those who suffer, because humanity is the greatest architect of suffering.

The State of Seattle
Seattle is a city that once pride itself on being truly green, as in aiming to be better for the environment and offering a clean city to live in. While the suburban areas are actually heading toward that, downtown is heading in a completely different direction.
What’s more, downtown is extremely expensive to live in, yet it has the highest concentration of low income housing. While the irony is not lost on those of us stuck living in such housing, it seems to be lost to everyone else.
In the suburban areas, a burger costs about two or three USD, while in downtown it’s about ten USD. But vegetables are even more expensive downtown, and very rare in spite of the Pike Place Market.
Where I live, I’m no less than a mile from any grocer who offers fresh veggies at all, and even in that distance they’re all extremely expensive. Which angers me because I don’t like meat that much.
Other amenities simply don’t exist here, laundry is at least 5 miles from where I live. So most poor are stuck in a portion of a city where everything is too expensive to afford, and the wealthy wonder why we can’t afford to eat healthy or even see a doctor.
There needs to be a drastic change in how things are done, but the organizations originally charged with protecting the residents are now protecting the landlords. Seattle, is not a green city.

Having been in the homeless system as a resident, I can verify they do this even in Seattle but because there are so many homeless the city turns a blind eye.
It’s that time of year to say no to the Salvation Army.
Never forget they let a Trans woman die instead of helping her.
Never forget they have tossed entire families on the street for having an LGBT child.
Never forget they tell non Christian families that unless they convert they will not help them.
Never forget that the Salvation Army is bigoted and hateful, many of the bell ringers routinely heckle and harass LGBT couples.

Fuck Compass Housing
So the staff at this organization have been harassing me for nearly 4 years because one of the neighbor cats is spraying my door and a different neighbor, who was high as fuck all the time, said it was my cat. Which is completely fucked up because Rhodey was less than a quarter this other cat’s size but that’s what junkies are like.
Then they have the audacity to imply that being poor and disabled makes us all idiots. One of their higher staff actually implied that in an email to me.
I dare these idiots to try to evict me now, because if all these emails are seen by the courts they’ll all be blackballed from social services.

So Compass Housing Alliance is actually attempting to deny that they left a cat they knew about for a week locked in an apartment after the human caring for her had died. Worse they are making it sound like anyone who mentions it is crazy.
Essentially they are attempting to #gaslight away fact at this point, to avoid the negative press from #animal abuse caused by their bad policies. Not only do the Seattle Humane Society need to step in, we need Seattle Housing Authority to stop letting the corporation take advantage and abuse those they are paid to providing services for.
It is also undeniable that Kelli Hurley is either uninformed or protecting her corporate masters. This is the current state of #Social Services and why so many people are still #homeless and #starving in #Seattle.

A Short Story About Animal Abuse
So recently my neighbor died, which to me is "meh" because he was constantly harassing me anyway. But Compass Housing Alliance left his cat locked in the apartment for 6 days, without food and water, only because no one was answering any form of communication and we have been without an official manager for years.
The state of #CompassHousingAlliance today is pathetic.

The Meaning of “Overnight”
It seems Compass Housing Alliance thinks two years of time to work on a problem they created is “overnight”. You read that correctly, every time someone complains about a long standing problem their answer is always “change doesn’t happen overnight”, without fail.
This new mantra of theirs is very insulting to people who have suffered at their hands for so long, yet it’s also the only answer we ever get from them. Not only do they always reply with this, they continue to do more to make matters worse instead of better.
Perhaps it is time for the heads of Compass Housing Alliance to be replaced, this time by termination instead of retirement. Let’s hope all business CEOs and managers remember that these people cannot be trusted with assets, so they do not fall prey to the dishonesty of these people.

Compass Housing Alliance Drama Ending?
So one of the staff of CHA has actually been doing the right thing, well not one but one that might actually be left in her position instead of being transferred out in a month or two. She seems to be taking the position she is in as a way to make a difference rather than a profit, which is good.
First and foremost, she makes appointments and if life prevents her from showing up she will find someone to fill in for her if possible. Yes, this has been a rare thing for a long time, so long that I got in the habit of never expecting to see a staff member ever again.
While they have yet to replace the laundry facilities they basically stole from the apartment building, a couple staff are making accommodations to help us get our linen washed. But what stands out is that this particular person actually understands what it’s like to truly be poor.
One of the worst mentalities that I have seen in most staff at CHA is that they don’t know what it’s like to be poor, like at all. They don’t know what it’s like to have no more than 30 USD worth of food for a week.
As long as this one staff member remains with the organization, they stand a chance of becoming a wonderful organization again. But I must remain on guard as they are notorious for transferring the good staff to other positions at a moment’s notice.
