Have you ever been in love with a person who has hurt you repeatedly during your relationship, yet you still stayed friends with that person because you'd rather not lose them completely? They end up becoming one of your best friends and someone you can be honest with about how you're really feeling. Have deep emotional conversations. Mess around and have a genuine friendship.
Yet at the same time those deep emotional conversations bring up alot of regrets and remorse about our on and off again dating history and the stuff we wish we could have done differently.
Openly admitted that you still have feelings for each other but that person says they are afraid of commitment yet somehow end up in a relationship year long and counting relationship.
It hurts so much but no matter how much you try to distance yourself from that person you just can't. Because they are constantly on your mind. And the thought of them not being with you makes you feel like your suffocating. Like you're going down a rabbit hole that you know will only end badly, but you still try to fight and hold on to that person.
It's frustrating, you sometimes just want to break down crying because you're so in love with that you crave for them...like a drug addict.
