Logged back onto recroom on my switch just now and I see that someone gave me a cheer that I didn’t see from last night so I go to the notification and in the note it said “cheers! Thank you for being a good sport! :)” and now I just feel bad because I was in-fact NOT a good sport last night. I just don’t have a mic so I was actually full on yelling at this dude in dodgeball because they were just standing there 😭

I feel so bad now bc they just seem so nice and I was just yelling at them 💔

So I’m legally blind and have been all my life! But only recently have gotten the help I need and some of those things are kitchen gadgets and textile bumps etc etc but with all this it just reminds me of a story when I was a kid

I’m around 8 and me and my two little brothers are in the sitting room when my parents come in saying they have a surprise for us! They then hand out these spy glasses! My little brothers are amazed and shouting on how cool it is and then my mum and dad have a go with their glasses too.. and I’m still sitting on the side of the sofa trying to spin my head like an owl trying to see what the fuss is about 😵‍💫 see the one crucial thing on “spy” glasses is the mirror on the outer sides of the glasses so you can see behind you! Well the other crucial thing about spy glasses is NOT BEING HALF BLIND 🤣 (if you need an image think of the logo of being blind and that is 100% me!) both of my parents while shopping forgot I was half blind and brought me spy glasses 😭💀

Needless to say when I asked out it my mum laughed and kept profusely apologising and I got to choose a treat from the snack cupboard 😂

11 years later though it’s the FUNNIEST memory I have from my childhood with my blindness and my mum feels bad every time I bring it up 🤣🤣🤣
