Update on my SPOP Star Fall AU redesigns:

Cerme/Catra Notes:

• I wanted to emphasize that she is indeed a TEENAGER during the first arc, not a YA.

• More affiliate symbolism in the form of bat wings placed in inconspicuous places of her uniform.

• Multiple outfit variations.

• Catra has paws and stripes.

Yan Aiguang/Glimmer Notes:

• The white sword marking down her chin is not permanent, though usually worn by warriors as legend depicts their royal family as having been close to the first Ra during the wars beginning a long time ago.

• I didn’t change much, mostly just added detail and fixed her hair to include Micah’s Asian coded themes.

• Gave her multi colored eyes with white pupils signifying this and her unnatural shimmering hair that she is the only of her mother’s three children to inherit true immortality and will eventually gain her wings.

Can I ask why sharers feel threatened every time they encounter a non-sharer? For the most part I generally do not care if you are a double I just don’t want to SEE.

I’ve been in and out of the SPOP forums as well as looking back at some old screenshot edits I did and every time I think of that fandom I’m just filled with this awful ache grieving what could’ve been had the writing been better. Our first taste of lesbian rep and it didn’t even beat the domestic abuse allegations smh.

Should I pick my old AU back up?

Catradora would NOT happen, and the last like two seasons in their entirety would also not happen, but I’d make sure Catra actually got the chance to slow down and atone for what she did in a healthy manner and reconnect with friends both old and new.

Think I’d call it something stupid like ‘everyone gets redeemed except Horde mother fucking Prime’ and let it me a small commentary about how people don’t need forgiveness to grow and change regardless of the hurt they’ve caused, and that you are not entitled to closure from your victims before you get better.

On your DNI list is a term I haven't heard, and I need to know if it's something I need to watch out for... what's an "endo"?

Endo DID [dissociative identity disorder] systems believe you don’t have to be traumatized to have DID which is just… blatant misinformation and misrepresentation of the disorder and how it is formed/attained(?) and regurgitated harmful rhetoric that can confuse people seeking diagnosis I fear :((

I do not have DID so I personally cannot and will not speak heavily on the matter but I do have personal experiences with friends that have it both online and in real life and they all agree that endos largely are doing it for the attention that comes with it.

Mind you, not HAVING trauma and not REMEMBERING your trauma are completely different things!! To my understanding it’s natural to have trauma holding alters and not remember much of what you’ve suffered yourself, but that is unfortunately NOT what endos are arguing for in this case :((
