How do you know do you actually feel something or have you just been taught to feel it?

Do you actually hate that specific group of people or have you just been taught to hate that group of people? Do you actually believe in that religion or have you just been taught to believe in it? Do you actually want to wear that type of clothing or have you just been taught to wear it? Do you actually want to act like that or have you just been taught to act like it? Do you actually like that food or have you just been taught to like it? Do you actually think that or have you just been taught to think it?

I've beef with soulmate AU's, don't get me wrong I like them and I read them but I have a lot of clarifying questions

like in soulmate AU's were you feel your soulmates pain, how do you know is it yours or your soulmates? let's say you're having immense chest pain, are you having a heart attack or is your soulmate having one? I feel like that would cause a lot of misdiagnosis', and can pain killers help the pain if it's your soulmates, if not wouldn't a lot of people die from pain, and what about if your soulmate is having a surgery, would that also mean that straight guys feel their soulmates period cramps because that would be amazing, I feel like if that happened womens health care would be better and their pain would be taken seriously, what about labour pains, now there's a fic idea, is emotional pain also included or just physical?

soulmate AU were your soulmates scars or bruises show on your skin, does that also include wounds, if so would your soulmates tattoos show on your skin because tattoos are wounds at least before they heal, and would only the wound show or also the ink? bruises show and they are basically just blood trapped under your skin, are tattoos really so different from that?, how do you know is a scar/bruise yours or your soulmates?, what about if your soulmate has an amputated arm or smt, where would that show on your skin?, same with this one medical misdiagnosis', are you having internal bleeding or is your soulmate having internal bleeding, if wounds do show you better hope your soulmate doesn't have a surgery, what about internal scarring?, what about stretch marks or acne or rash

soulmates name tattooed on your skin, what if your soulmate changes their name?, does the tattoo change?, what if multiple people have the same name

the first words your soulmates says to you tattooed on your skin, does speaking near you or to the same group as you but not directly to you count?, is it only ftf or does online count?, if it does what if your soulmate comments under your post and you don't see it then you'll never find a soulmate, what if it's in another language and do don't realise you just met your soulmate?

i kinda wanna make a discord server, where people (especially neurodivergent people) can talk about their special interests, yk like movies, books and TV shows, but also like more niche things like specific animals or events or pretty much anything, I'd love to do it if even few people were interested
