Casey: Oh, no. She's a good person and I like her. But she's like a sister to me.

Donnie: Right.

Casey: I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd do her if she'd let me.

Donnie: ...

Casey:

Donnie: I’m glad we had this talk.

Casey: How could you have done that? 

April: Well, it was just an offhand remark, how did I know how he'd react? 

Casey: He's Donnie! If you had said you liked my eyes, they would have been on your desk tomorrow in a Tiffany box!

Casey: Doctors are the worst of all. You pick up the same disease three or four times, they start lecturing you like it's your fault. [Offers chocolate] Want a bite?

Donnie: Not if you skipped it to me over a pool of disinfectant.

Casey: I read somewhere that if you have physical contact on a regular basis, it can actually extend your life.

Donnie: Well, in that case you should outlive Styrofoam.

(Casey is staring at Raph from across the room)

Donnie: Are you quite finished undressing him with your eyes?

Casey: Oh, please. I'm already looking for my socks and trying to remember where I parked my car.

Leo: What's going on?

April: Your brother just gave me $200 and now he's going to roll me over!

Leo: ... Donnie?

Donnie: Communication breakdown.

Leo: Good.

I still have a Donatello vanity plate for the car. Now I get to name our truck. It’s gray, but tough and I most certainly look ridiculous behind the wheel. So, do I go with:

A) Casey Jones (minus some vowels)

B) Technodrome (see above note)

C) Kraang

For anyone who still doesn’t know, this is from Chapter 34 of our Ghost of a Chance fanfic. Spoiler alert? :P

I was a sophomore in high school when the Columbine High School massacre occurred. We were horrified and heartbroken for the students and family who were thousands of miles away. We planted a memorial garden on campus.

But we weren’t scared. Because, obviously the adults would do something. They would make laws to protect us. Provide better access to mental health resources. Make sure that every student felt safe going to school, every day.

It’s been nearly 26 years.

My twins are in second grade and have been practicing “active shooter safety drills.”

This is not what I had in mind.
