Asou, Asō, or Aso?

The use of おう or Ō to indicate a long vowel has been on my mind for some time, and the author's name provides a fitting illustration.

If you look at the image, you'll notice furigana—hiragana characters that indicate how to read the kanji 麻生 as あそう (Asō). You'll also see English letters used to help learners pronounce the Japanese, a common feature in many educational videos. The name 「麻生」 can be written in several ways in Roman letters, such as Asou, Asō, or Asoo (some Japanese write ō, あう as oo) —all of which aim to emphasize the long vowel sound.

When I first started reading manga, I found the spelling a bit confusing, but I quickly got used to it. The "ou" combination forms a closed long vowel, and the "o" often sounds like the "o" in do, which helped it make more sense to me. That’s just my personal observation. Now I realize that the translators—who definitely have better English than I do—wrote the names using roman letters.

Personally, I prefer using Asou if I have to teach, because when you type it on a keyboard, the correct kanji 「麻生」 appears right away. In contrast, typing Asoo doesn’t bring up that kanji, and Asō (with a macron) can be ambiguous—does it mean Asou or Asoo? For example, 大阪 is おおさか (Ōsaka), and it's spelled oosaka, not ousaka.

That said, when writing names in English (rather than indicating pronunciation), the correct rendering of 麻生 is Aso. His Twitter is shu1aso, where the "1" represents ichi. His full name is 麻生周一 (Asō Shūichi / あそう・しゅういち). This kind of simplification is common with place names too—Tokyo (東京 / とうきょう / Toukyou) and Osaka (大阪 / おおさか / Oosaka) are written in English without indicating the long vowels. Even though romanization systems often mark long vowels as ou, oo, or with macrons (ō, ū), Japanese people typically drop these distinctions in English and just use a single vowel*. The same goes for ū sounds—for instance, the publisher 「集英社」, pronounced Shūeisha or Shuueisha, is officially written as Shueisha in English.

Oh, obviously! The author totally said it's not the answer because it's "just a hint." And that hint? Oh, it's in quotation marks—so clear, right? He said the readers can imagine whatever But surprise, surprise! The author actually *wants* them to get married.

And for you who still not getting it: After I posted, I guess tons of Reddit users sent DMs asking if it's true. I asked the author for confirmation, and guess what? He even drew the art and tweeted about it, explaining it was for a high schooler putting on a drama show. He’s totally happy to draw a flyer on his own (which refers to my theory. Coincidence? Huh?) and happy if you use it—but the kanji’s wrong, so don’t use it. But hey, I’m not using it with kanji, and no, I don’t think anyone *forced or harassed* him to draw or tweet it. But once again, no one can force or harass him to be happy and do anything he doesn’t want to.

Does this all make sense to you now, or is it still too complex and still thinks I harassed him to make Saiteru canon? Oh, and by the way, that's why I suggested you support the author's *favorite* ship. But, sure, what's your next move? Are you going to ask me to post all the private conversations for you? I hope you’ve got some manners and won’t ask, because I won’t show them. It’s private, you know? But if you're still clinging to any last shred of reflection, maybe try sending your own theory to the author and *harass* him to make Makoto and Kusuke marry. Yeah, you said you wouldn’t, but that’s your problem, not mine.

Seriously, take a good look at your own actions in trying to be a police officer or a guardian of protecting *misinfo*. How do you feel when you're wrong? Please mind your own business and *butt out*!!

Oh, wow, color me surprised! I didn’t expect a reblog with a negative comment—especially from you who definitely knew how I was going to respond. I mean, you must have been prepared for that epic comeback, right?

If you're still confused, maybe think about that time your partner, aoki553 raged on Tumblr about me, all sure they had the right info, even though one of my post clearly explained to them that they knew nothing!

But hey, I'm sure your ship and bias haven’t completely destroyed all of your brain cells... right? I really hope you still have at least one left to actually reflect on this whole mess.

You think it because of begging and harassment, but let's play pretend for a second: imagine you’re sending a Makoto and Kusuke theory to the author—using Google Translate, of course—and begging/harassing him to make it a thing (you called make it canon). Do you honestly think the author would reply with, “I want Makoto and Kusuke to get married”? in DMs or draw art based on your theory? and tweeted it. Yeah, I didn’t think so.

If you still didn’t know the answer and I’m really disappoint for you who have been a fan of *Saiki K* for years, acting like the ultimate expert and catching every mistake. But Surprise! Surprise! your brain cells just can’t seem to process that *Saiki x Teruhashi* is the author’s *favorite* ship? Shocking, really. And FYI, no one can force or harass the author to say “I want Saiki and Teruhashi-san to get married,” or make him draw the illustration of Saiki and Teruhashi that based on him and his wife. But sure, let’s just keep pretending that’s not a thing. Imagine that!

What will it be? This is just my opinion, but if the author decides to continue Saiki K, it could be in the form of a one-shot, some characters appear in a single panel of his new work, or even a spin-off.

SaiTeru marriage

The tweet included the message: "I was happy to draw a flyer on my own." Hmmm... This shows that the author can create whatever he wants, and he's clearly happy to draw Saiki and Teruhashi together. That’s why he has never drawn other ships in official art, except for Saiteru. The message supports his statement: "I want Saiki and Teruhashi-san to marry."

The author is really sweet for making it clear that Saiki ends up with Teruhashi and that she wins over Aiura on twitter ❤️❤️.

Maybe we'll get to see their marriage ❤️ Honestly, though, I'd prefer this to be the final step. I want to see their relationship develop first.

2. Aiura´s soulmate

I asked the author twice, but he didn’t tell me anything about aiura, only confirmed saiki and teruhashi. I guess he doesn’t want to spoil anything and will reveal Aiura’s soulmate in his next work.

3. Saiki k university version

For those excited about "Saiki K university version", the author responded to a fan in the twitter who said it would be lonely if they made it during the university arc without Nendo. The author clarified that Nendo wouldn’t pass the university entrance exam. He didn’t even take it, but he probably sitting next to them (when they study). The reply comment said I can easily imagine that happening and Saiki probably just say, "Yare yare"

Poor Nendo who loves his pals, but struggling to pass the test and coming to terms with his limits. I can totally imagine he had a tough time graduating high school!

4. Third year of high school

5. A new manga

He will create a new manga, but some of the Saiki characters will likely appear in it (just in some panel or a few chapter), similar to how he brought in characters from his previous works in some chapter of Saiki K. I think this is the most likely scenario.

I just had a thought if Aiura´s soulmate was really saiki

I sent the author my theory. Saiki never smiled when people put an arm around his shoulder except kokomi. That's one of the reason saiki and teruhashi become a couple.

Due to my english, I should use google translate ( •̯́ ₃ •̯̀) Aibu = Aiura, teacher = sensei 「先生」　(it’s polite and respect to call the author)

As many knew, The author replied to me and said "he wants saiki and teruhashi to marry". So I ask the author if saiki is aiuras soulmate because ppl can imagine what will happen after the story, right? I wanna make sure if he really meant about saiki and teruhashi since he didn't deny my theory about saiki and teruhashi.

And then he drew this 3 days later. Saiki smiles when Kokomi puts her hand with victory/peace sign on his shoulder.

I think I have got my answer that they will be a couple and I shouldn't bother the author anymore (๑•́ㅿ•̀๑)ᔆᵒʳʳᵞ

I love it whenever the author draws Saiki as a representative of himself like this art.

The author drew Saiki as a big fan of his wife (red glow stick = his wife's color) which clearly shows that Saiki has an interest in women (not aroace).

He drew Teruhashi front left corner, and Saiki front right corner, according to the color of the idol and glow stick. Well, he always likes Saiteru because she is always only or one of the female he drew in the Saiki group ❤️ (ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ.ﾟ

This post will make you know more about Asou-sensei and Furukawa-san, and perhaps about Japanese manga characters. Sorry some information you might have seen it already.

How mangaka based off their characters?

1       appearance 

When people saw Asō-sensei, he got comments saying he looked like Saiki Kusuo. The same as Nishizawa, the author of 5mm (西沢５ミリ、Nishizawa 5miri).

Some other characters that resemble the real people. The author of one piece, Oda-sensei, had confirmed some of these.

This´s quite difficult. The author has to admit it or you must really know that character.

The author of Berserk did give an interview in 1996.

NBA players were the model for the characters in slam dunk. I'm not into sports, but many redditors had theories about these because they knew about different styles of play in basketball. A Japanese blogger said that the author of slam dunk did not admit or deny when he was asked if slam dunk characters were from NBA players. That means there is no right or wrong answer. The author said the readers could imagine who was the model. But the blogger said its not true because he watched NBA for a long time and he had theories to prove that.

Is teruhashi based on the author's wife Furukawa-san or is she a model for teruhashi? (Whatever the correct word is, sorry 😢 ).

We knew from the last two posts that the author started basing teruhashi on his wife after they met in 2014. The author made Teruhashi loves one, have a fan club and be able to sing from 2014.

When the author drew someone else as kokomi, Furukawa-san tweeted right away.

In 2016, his wife tweeted 「おっふしてもいいんだからね！」 → it´s okay (if you’re going) to offu! 

To prove that she´s the real kokomi.

In 2018, his wife tweeted 

「斉木楠雄のΨ難、麻生先生描き下ろしジャケ！ 

照橋さん枠はえいたそだったのか、、、！

And then Furukawa-san tweeted again with excuses that Eitaso wasn´t teruhashi because….

だからちとものが違うか、、、→ so maybe it’s a bit different...

I guess the author explained to her that Eitaso wasn’t Teruhashi and that’s why furukawa-san tweeted again. Well, Furukawa-san thinks she is Teruhashi. And can't stand if someone else is Teruhashi. There must be something to make her believe/sure about this. It is a secret between the author and Furukawa-san. The question about if Furukawa-san is Teruhashi. She has already given the answer!

Think why the author made Kokomi have fan club and kusuo a tsundere in 2014? Coincidences? Why did his wife have so much confidence about she’s Kokomi? Why didn't the author do that in the beginning of Saiki k? Why started basing them in 2014 the year he met his wife?

Q: Is the author a tsundere?

Is Saiki based on the author or is he a model for him? After the author met his wife in 2014, Saiki admitted that he is a tsundere.

If I were Furukawa-san and read these comments….. I felt hurt. There were some comments on x (twitter) saying that Aso-sensei liked Risa-chan or his oshi was Risa-chan from 2015-2019 (her first response to the author was in 2016). As a woman, I read comments saying my boyfriend likes my friend. Did people think I stole him from my friend or my friend rejected him so he chose me and ended up marrying me. Was I his second choice??? No wonder Furukawa-san couldn't accept when someone else was kokomi.

However, colleagues confirmed their relationship No. 3&4.

2. In 2018, the marriage purpose. No. 3 「でんぱぐみのだれかと（けっこん）」 → (Marry) someone in Dempagumi(.inc). The word “marry” was coverd by Nendou´s hand.

P.S. If anyone thinks it's a word other than the word marry …hmmm. That person doesn't understand Japanese in context (that chapter).

3. His assistant, Mitsuhara-san mentioned that Furukawa´s his favorite member and Asou-sensei replied his comment (without denying it) saying 

「わー！忙しいのにわざわざ漫画まで描いてくれてありがとー！！あれはそういう策略だったのか…w」

→ Wow! Thanks for drawing all those manga even though you're so busy! (Now I know) what kind of strategy was that...lol

What Asō-sensei did to Furukawa-san

Didn´t say his feeling to Furukawa-san. He said he preferred Risa. But his coworker, Mitsuhara-san said Furukawa was his favourite member. Asou-sensei attended dempagumi.inc activities/events, but he wanna leave after he talked to his wife for a word or two. At first I thought their relationship had to be a secret. he could write about Risa-san but Furukawa-san. <(ꐦㅍ _ㅍ)> ……… tsundere.

Did tease his wife by drawing someone else as Teruhashi. He drew dempagumi.inc only 2 pics and teased his wife both of them. Aso-sensei drew Furukawa-san with arms crossed. ʱªʱªʱª (ᕑᗢूᓫ∗)

P.S. The CD jacket supposed to release in April 2018, but his wife saw it in February 2018. So, she tweeted with those messages right away. Arms crossed = disagree. The author knew that Furukawa-san disagreed that she wasn't kokomi, but he teased her. I saw one post that he still teased her after they've got married.

Didn´t write the word “marry” in a marriage proposal. I wondered when I read it, but now everything is resolved. What a tsundere! Finally, he grouped his wife with Teruhashi even though he wrote the word "someone" on no. 3 instead of Furukawa-san (because of idol status). However, it’s really sweet of him to do it in anime and it will stay forever.

4. His coworker, 大石浩二、Ōishi-san (mangaka) who works at Shonen Jump+ said

麻生先生&みりんちゃん結婚おめでとうございます。前から知ってはいましたが、未だにえっマジで！！？なんだその漫画みたいな展開！！って思ってます。みりんちゃんのハートにＢダッシュした麻生先生。末永くお幸せに🎊

Congratulations to Asō-sensei & Mirin-chan on their marriage. I've known about it for a while, but I'm still thinking "What Really!!? What a manga-like development!!” Aso-sensei made a B-dash into Mirin-chan's heart. I wish you a long and happy life🎊.

However, Ōishi-san compared them to a manga. What manga? Did he mean Saiki k manga? I don't know much information about Aso-sensei and Furukawa-san compare to Oishi-san, but I knew Asō-sensei is an otaku and his wife is an idol. So I think otaku & idol. That's why the author did a self-insert to Saiki k manga. Plus, he did mentioned himself (as an otaku) made his favorite idol sang the theme songs in 2016 (chapter 234).

When they were in a relationship in 2016, The author asked their friends, family and co-worker for the vote (to make Saiteru got 1&2 place) because they (ppl who knows him) knew about Furukawa-san. He wanted their votes instead of votes from readers. Who the hell didn't know that he's saiteru shipper?

Plus, Dempagumi started to sing saiki k anime songs in 2016. The author wasn't just an otaku who attended only dempagumi events, but this made them had more time together.

2nd popularity poll, chapter 115, chapter 234, Aso-sensei and Dempagumi (he wears black and Furukawa-san is on his left, the video.

After the author and Furukawa-san announced they going to marry. Someone made a video and put the author, his wife, Saiki and Teruhashi in the video. And at the end shows Imu saying "just like a mangaka whose anime main theme was sung by their favorite idol!" in japanese. Many knew that the author made the self insert (mentioned himself in chapter 234).

To answer the question of if the author based on Saiki or using him as a model.

- In terms of appearance, I'm not the only one who thinks the author looks like Saiki.

- For the personality, what he did to Furukawa-san (2015-2018), the author’s a tsundere to me.

My point with this post is that it´s not strange or stupid that the manga creators/mangaka use the real people as models for their characters in the manga or based on themselves. It doesn't mean that characters are 100% like the authors, and have to be a warrior like Guts from Berserk. The author said “Guts' personality or his beliefs... I guess some of that comes from myself.” So did Asō sensei and Saiki about tsundere.

Another evidence that saiki is based on the author is asou sensei tweeted in July 2015「りさ推しよりの箱推しです！今日はライブです！」→ “My Oshi is the whole group, even though I prefer Risa a little more! Today is the live concert!”

2 months later Aiura appeared in manga chapter 162 assuming Saiki was her soulmate. 

I mean he made Saiki’s life like his real life by tricking people that Risa’s his oshi the same as tricking people to believe that Saiki was Aiura’s soulmate.  And lastly, but not least

The author made this art into the hidden cover of the last volume. I always say the cover of the last volume is the hints from the author. Normally, it shows who ends up with who. If something unclear, the cover might help 😊.

Look like the author did wrap up everything about saiki and Teruhashi are canon and him ❤️ his wife. Clearly see that saiki and teruhashi are based on aso-sensei and furukawa-san. He drew the same face expression and plus a hint on holding shoulder. Normally, saiki always has a grumpy face, but the author shows saiki is happy and smiles when Kokomi is with him and holds his shoulder unlike Aiura and Makoto hold his. Some manga ends with holding hands showing that they are a couple. At first I thought saiki holds Teruhashi hands (that’s why the author didn’t draw the full body of them), but it seems like the author gave a hint on holding shoulders instead. Well, doesn’t this show Saiki and Teruhashi are a couple for a gag manga?

This message below is for someone who claimed to be asō-sensei number 1 fan and posted about me. The rest of you please ignore this.

I hope you get to know the author better and find it interesting, rather than saying misinformation without sources and lying to others because you have no knowledge and no information about manga. Real people are models for/based on manga characters existed before you were even born. Shocking? This has never happened before. Still think this information isn´t credible? And want the the author to admit or deny that he and his wife based on Saiki and Teruhashi. Good luck with that, a tsundere like him who never told/said Furukawa-san his feelings online (direct way) until they announced their marriage. He isn't a criminal he has to accept or refuse this if he doesn't want to. The author never said about it, but it doesn’t mean his wife and coworkers wouldn’t say anything. I thought I did make it clear about last two post and I thought I didn’t need to write more about it. This story seems so exaggerate and hard to believe. So some people think they know about the author and think it´s misinfo. Please don’t judge Japanese manga with your different background/culture, but try to understand it. You asked for souces, I gave you. Where are your sources saying misinfo, or you are full of bias? Huh?

When you disliked someone’s (especially my) posts and comments, you disproved it by using the excuses like You dont know the author or you are not the author. Please remember even I pointed out the author drew Toritsuka´s hair pink in chapter 73 and explained that he’s Aiura´s soulmate in the 1st post. You didn’t even accept Reita x Mikoto and the evidence from the author. You are in denial bro. So don't mention the author as an excuse for debate. Please use logic and respect the authors decision rather than using your emotion in making judgments. There are much more you have to learn about japanese manga. Please keep an open mind.

Extra: Is Teruhashi based off of the author's wife?

When I said Asō sensei would do anything for SaiTeru. These are the example.

In 2014 the author became his wife's otaku. The others coat (chapter 101) stated "Teruhashi/kokomi is life" and Reita´s coat (chapter 211) stated "Kokomi offense force" while only kusuo´s coat stated "love Teruhashi" (/▽＼*)｡o○♡❤️ He always call her Teruhashi, not kokomi.

In 2016, the year the author and his wife became boyfriend/girlfriend. He wanted Teruhashi and Saiki won together the 2nd popularity poll (I guess the author wanted to celebrate their relationship), so he asked for votes from his family/friends. (Readers should normally vote But who cares!) Of course, Saiki and Teruhashi took 1st and 2nd place because their acquaintances knew about this and he could convince them. Afterward, he drew saiki x teruhashi wearing crowns as the queen and the king on a coloring page. Cerebrating their relationship!? awww so sweet  (❤ω❤)

There is no doubt that his wife is definitely Kokomi and the author is Kusuo (✿ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)⁾⁾ 💕

Is Teruhashi based off of the author's wife? Part 1

Saiki K published in 2010 in one short chapter, and was serialized from May 2012 to February 2018 (chapter 1-279).

Kokomi appeared in 2012. Her attitude at the beginning of chapter 5 was narcissistic. She flirted with the new transferred boys in chapters 18 and 66

And now I want to focus on the year 2014 since the author started to be a big fan of dempagumi.INC. He tweeted that he went to the first idol concert in November 2014.

His coworker/assistant who helped drawing Saiki k. manga (三原すばる/Mihara Subaru) drew this manga panel, and he was the one who made the author a big fan of Dempagumi (his wife is an idol in this group) in 2014.

I 2014, his wife's hairstyle appeared in chapter 87. Kokomi could sing in chapter 90. Kusuo admited that he was a tsundere in chapter 92.

Chapter 101. Kokominzu. Um... Being Otaku can affect to manga. His wife also has a fan club.

Chapter 114 Saiko appeared. He was the man of Kokomi's dream, but the author made Kokomi more loyal to Kusuo and stopped flirting with a new boy.

In 2016, there was a turning point. Kusuo was more open to Kokomi and respects her feelings. He got rid of the guys in the mixer (Chapter 182). He bought her a present (Chapter 204). Kusuo said offu with his own mouth to Kokomi (Chapter 214). He praised Kokomi we are invisible (Chapter 218)

In the same year, the author did draw his wife as Aiura Mikoto, and Aizawa Risa as Kokomi (chapter 219) and he tweeted it on 7 nov 2016. Does this prove that Risa is kokomi to the author?

Yumemi posted this picture and got the comment that she was Nendou (because of her height). If it is because of the height, I can arrange their heights in order.

There was a comment that said "As I thought, Aso sensei is a big fan of Risa-chan, aren't you? " (because he drew her as Kokomi and we all know that Kokomi is his favorite female character). The author didn't reply/answer the comment.

However, the queen came and claimed her crown! The author's wife (Furukawa-san) wrote on her twitter that "it is ok to offu" the same day the author tweeted that drawing. We all know there is one character who wants to hear offu. So who is the real kokomi?

I guess 2016 was the year they were bf/gf. That's why it's a turning point for Kusuo. I mean I wouldn't care if a big fan of mine likes or married another woman, but I do care if someone thinks my boyfriend likes another woman. Both of them couldn't say it out loud because his wife is an idol (must be secret).

In December 2018, the author proposed to his wife on Saiki animation S3 ep 1

Chapter 265 and S3ep1

In manga

1st choice「はしもと かんな と けっこん」→ married to Hashimoto Kanna (she starred as Kokomi in live action).

2nd choice 「よしおかりほ と けっこん」→ married to Yoshioka Riho (the actress).

3rd choice 「ガッキーとけっこん」 → married to Gakki (Aragaki Yui: not relate to Saiki k).

But in anime s.3 ep.1 (Netflix doesn’t translate the texts in anime.), Asō sensei changed 

no. 2 to「かやの あい と けっこん」married to Kayano Ai (Kokomi’s voice in anime)

no.3 to でんぱぐみのだれか(とけっこん) → Married someone in Dempagumi(.inc). 

He grouped his wife with Kokomi in animation. I guess his wife likes Kokomi or he sees his wife beautiful as kokomi. Anyways, he is so sweet to do a marriage proposal on anime and this'll alway be on Saiki k anime forever .

18 september 2019 The author announed that he and Furukawan-san would get married (one day before his wife birthday, 19 sep), and they had got married in november 2019 (the same month they met each other.

His coworker (三原すばる/Mihara Subaru) wrote on the manga panel, the result of being an otaku for 5 years (from 2014 to 2019). Congratulations on marriage!

So, it is Furukawa-san that the author likes from the beginning, and Furukawa-san was Mikoto in that drawing because of the height. One thing we should know about the author that he likes to trick the readers. The same as he tricked us about Aiura´s soulmate which is Toritsuka.

In my opinion, Kokomi wasn't based off the author's wife in the beginning (because they didn’t met each other from start of Saiki k. (2012), but they met each other before half of saiki k. manga 2014). Kokomi is his type and she looks similar to his wife. So, he likes his wife from the first day. The author changed Kokomi to be more nicer: not narcissistic and loyal: stop fooling around. She is beautiful, has fanclub and talented like his wife (a little based off his wife), but not a 100% like his wife because some personalities of his wife are taken to the other characters. His wife had a lack of communication at school and dislikes insects (that's kusuo character from 2012). She is a gamer. She likes ramen (Umm, it's nendou character from 2012).

The question: Doesn´t Kusuo end up with Kokomi if the author and his wife haven't met? 

Answer: I would think that Kokomi’s still narcissistic and would chase after him until the end without Kusuo showing that he liked her or not. Being aroace, I guess. 

But the author planned from the beginning that they have same birthday month and he sent them together (Kokomi asked for a decent boy and saw kusuo on her birthday, his father asked God for a nice girlfriend for his son and Kokomi appeared). The ending would be the same that kusuo chooses kokomi in chapter 279 (He doesn´t make a 100% clear and the readers have to interpret the ending). 

The picture from animation released in 2019, the year that they had got married or manga chapter 281 released in 2018, the year that the author proposed his wife. He made kusuo and Kokomi canon (Saiki likes Teruhashi in the last scene). The picture shows Kusuo startled when he heard someone called Kokomi. He didn't react anything to other friends, only reacted to Kokomi. He smiles after her words and quickly grabs glasses (save the world and grant Kokomi´s wish). Kusuo said he liked trouble which refered to Kokomi (chapter 181). Both of them like each other. The end ଘ(੭◌ˊᵕˋ)੭* ੈ♡❤️🎉‧₊˚

Chapter 181 and Reawakened ep. 6

Chapter 181 kokomi admited she liked kusuo and Reawakened ep. 6 (Chapter 281) kusuo said he liked trouble, kokomi. Ironically, he referenced/linked this romantic couple (SaiTeru) 100 chapters apart. The same as 100 chapters apart for this couple: Mikoto met Reita for the first time in chapter 173 and Reita has pink hair in chapter 73. With the pun of the characters’ names and this reference, this author is literally brilliant!

I'm not sure if the author changed Kokomi’s personality to be nicer after knowing his wife and made Kusuo´s heart swayed for kokomi the same timeline of their relationship on purpose or he did plan about this, even he didn´t meet his wife. Edit The author made terusai happened the same timeline of theirs relationship after I saw he referred himself as saiki and Kokomi as his wife in chapter 115. See extra: is Teruhashi is based off of the author’s wife? I am so sure that the author is so sweet. He even changed the storyline that Kokomi is (a little) based off his wife and saiki is a tsundere. The author saw his wife beautiful like kokomi (miss perfect in his eyes) and that’s why he grouped Kokomi and his wife in a marriage proposal. Kokomi and his wife has effort (this is definitely his type). The most important is his wife wanted to be Kokomi. “It’s ok to offu”. The author will do everything for his wife and it seems to me that his wife likes kokomi and is SaiTeru. Kokomi is favoured by the author God. Both of them are SaiTeru.

I like to think that the author say this to his wife 

«I couldn´t have done it without her. With your powers and mine, we can´t fail. We´re invicible.»
