I forgot how to Tumblr.

Maybe this thing isn’t as dead as shit? I totally forgot this thing existed and man oh man, is it bringing back some memories. It’s crazy how much time I was able to spend on this back when I worked at Target and had a lot more free time to myself. By the time I got my job at Ridgemoor, I was always having panic attacks from work and hating about 45-50% of everything about life at that point...so I just kind of neglected my Tumblr. Then, about almost a year later I tried to redo it after I had moved in with my then girlfriend at the time Clara into an apartment in Dogtown. Well, that didn’t last either as the problems that I always knew were in the back of my head about that girl just came to a power keg explosion and we realized it wasn’t going to work with us living together....but for some dumb reason, the rest of the year and for a majority of 2015 we tried again....only for it to blow up once more leading to us to never speak again...which in the long run is probably for the best. Perhaps I’m thankful I didn’t Tumblr around that time? Also, my health went into the crapper for a majority of late 2013 - early 2015. I was proud of how skinny and healthy I was able to make myself after my horrible weight gain after Elyse and I split up and a lot of that had to do with setting time aside for myself and forcing exercise routines as mandatory. The stress from the job with Ridgemoor made me constantly unhappy and on top of that, I neglected setting exercise time to spend more time with Clara...which was giving me more of a sedentary lifestyle. Luckily, I was able to get out of that fucking horrible job at Ridgemoor and start a new life at Answers.com in the fall of 2013....but that job is even more sedentary and could be mentally exhausting from time to time...which just made me even more lazy from week to week. Not trying to make too many excuses, but I just stopped caring for whatever reason. I had lost the effort and most of 2014 (while still a fun year) had a lot of depressed internal moments for how things were ending up for my lifestyle. Well, in 2015 I made the effort again and lost roughly 40 pounds before the year ended. Also in 2015 I found an amazing girl in Sierra who I’ve been with for almost five months now and has really reminded me of what love is supposed to feel like. That feeling of knowing that someone is there for you and has your back both emotionally, physically and mentally. For too long I didn’t put the things that I really wanted in a partner forward and it’s crazy the things you give up just for “comfort” at times. We’re there for each other and we’re very much in love.

I won’t bore you with the exact details over the last year and several months from my last update. It’s been months filled with friends, food, work, exercise, happiness, sadness, uncertainty, anticipation, pop culture obsessions and of course....lots and lots of music. Oh yeah...and I’m buying a fucking house. 2016 promises to be filled with good times ahead.

This thing is as dead as shit. Farewell Tumblr. Shrek is love, Shrek is life.

My Tumblr just turned 3 today. Good time to bring it back from the dead.

Going away for awhile...

I’m officially putting my Tumblr on hiatus for the time being. I never have the motivation to post anything anymore and I really need to get my life back on track like learning to adapt to the stress my new job gives me or find a new job....among other things.

You can see from my post count, as well, it’s been dwindling with each month since May. Oh well.

I actually plan on creating a site that posts music and concerts reviews and blog from there. I may come back and post a link to that here.

Until then, thanks Tumblr for the fun moments I had with you for two years. Take care followers, I’ll see ya around.
