but besides that, there was a talk about valve getting breached by someone, i think it was 2 months ago and people were urged to change their passes just in case so, watch yourself out there. fucking hate how we are never 100% safe from shitstains even with extra steps taken to be safe. hate internet sometimes ugh

I clicked on a link in a message because it came from someone, and believed what they said about voting for their team. It was also 3am and I didn't even think about the possibility of getting hacked because I do have steam guard set up. I also didn't think about the fact that it brought me to another steam login page lmao. I fell for the oldest trick in the book. Like, looking back at it now it was such a stupid ass move on my part. I guess they got hacked too because the messages were the same ones that were sent from my account, plus I think their account is completely gone now cause I can't find it. 😬 I'm very lucky I was informed quickly and still have all my games. Dude if I lost DBD I'd fuckin explode, sure there's a shit ton of other games I have, but that's like, my baby right there. xD

Was there? Oh jeez. Well I did go ahead and change all my passwords and made sure my account was logged out of all devices except for my phone. So I think I'm okay rn. I appreciate the heads up though cause I had no idea about the breach. Legit though like, I hate it too. It's fucking ridiculous. Like I really do miss being able to log onto shit without needing my laptop on hand with my phone. But it's life I guess. No matter how secure we think we are, some asshat is always gonna find a way to breach it. :/ but yeah, you watch yourself out there too. <3
