A lot of times, I’m very unsatisfied with my art skills, but when I feel this way, I go pick up a pen and do some figure drawing!

It helps me realize that I’m actually a lot more feeble than I thought. A humbling experience.

Back to da grind

Hello people— it’s been a while? I don’t have a lot of followers, so while I feel a little self-important making a post like this, I also thought it would be weird to just start posting again out of nowhere after making a very dramatic ‘goodbye’ post.

I’m in a much better place than I was last time I was here, (my family situation, living situation, etc…) and sort of reevaluated what I want to do with the rest of my life and where I want to ‘go’.

Making art, character designs and stories is basically my favorite thing ever. It’s the one thing I always seem to return to, even when others mock me, even when I mock myself. I look up to more experienced creatives and have always wanted to make media like them. I just kinda… thought I shouldn’t. Or couldn’t. That I am uniquely shameful and bad.

That is a very cowardly mindset. I want to give being an artist another try, even though there’s a really big part of me that believes it won’t amount to anything.

I didn’t know what I’m doing! I don’t know how to advertise commissions, or how to postmaxx! (Advice appreciated, haha..) Still, let’s give it another go.

See you soon with some art. I’ll try to do more original stuff from now on along with fanart.

Moving On

I don’t have very many followers, so I feel kind of silly doing a post on this, but maybe it’s good to give a final update here.

I don’t usually like giving out information about my real life online, but I feel like my actions will make more sense with a bit of context.

I’m seventeen, by this fall of 2024 I would have been a senior in high school… if I hadn’t graduated a year early due to taking extra classes online. But I did graduate early.

And now it’s time for me to go to college. Choose a career. Take up responsibilities and become a real person.

I’m busier than I ever was before, and I feel almost sick with how many things I need to get done and prepare for. I feel like I’m outgrowing a lot of the things I used to do, like writing/reading fanfic and making aus and fanart. I know that adults can still enjoy those things, and there’s nothing *inherently* bad or childish about enjoying that stuff, and if you’re an adult who finds relaxation and community in fandom, there’s no problem with that. More power to you, honestly.

However, for me, fandom/fanfic is too linked with the ‘me’ that’s a kid. I cherish those memories, but they’re the past. I can’t afford to hold onto that anymore.

That said, I still enjoy the shows, and I’ll still keep up with them, but I feel weird being so invested in fandom now. It isn’t the same.

To everyone that liked the stuff I’ve made, you were the joy in my life for many years. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. And I’m sorry that I couldn’t deliver more.

I probably won’t post here ever again. Goodbye.

Swap au where Kokushibo defected and Muzan Frankenstein’s monster’d Yoriichi back to life as a replacement.

Lore under da cut!

Muzan spent a good 300 years messing around with Yoriichi’s corpse in order to revive him; a measure that was equal parts revenge on Kokushibo and reassurance for the demon king himself.

Because of this, Yoriichi’s memory and personality are a complete mess— most demons take mental damage from working under Muzan, but it is much, much worse for Yoriichi.

He has no memories of his human life and is missing much of his personality. His Sun Breathing is also significantly weaker, and he is no longer stronger than Muzan.

Muzan abuses all of his demons to an extent, but I imagine he would take a lot of satisfaction from being particularly cruel to Yoriichi, or forcing Yoriichi to do things that he knows would be unforgivable to his human self.

Yoriichi, of course, doesn’t know any of that. He’s really not doing well mentally, but because he has no memory or reference point, is kind of just like, ‘this is my life.’

The few demons who’ve met him consider Yoriichi extremely unsettling and unnatural, kind of like how we humans might view a zombie or an uncannily lifelike animatronic.

His bare face is known to stun demons or give them extreme flashbacks, and has been mandated by Muzan to wear a veil at all times.

Yoriichi has never been challenged for his position by another Upper Rank.

He is NOT sun-resistant. Yoriichi perhaps could’ve been if Muzan hadn’t modified his biology so much (much of the modifications were born out of Muzan’s fear that Yoriichi would surpass or turn on him, as well as his spite for Yoriichi ever making him feel weak).

Yorriichi is not prone to cruelty or violence.

He doesn’t usually kill unless prompted to by Muzan or fed by Lady Tamayo, who, as Muzan’s lab partner and secretary, has frequent contact with Yoriichi.

BONUS FACT:

Because of his success in turning Yoriichi into a demon. Muzan has developed a habit of turning any demon slayer he encounters instead of killing them. There are a few Upper Ranks that were recruited through this method.

Nowdays, corps members will replace three or four of their back teeth with a potent wisteria toxin, as well as carry around an emergency vial on their person to inject themselves with in case they’re ever forcefully introduced to demon blood. It’s worth noting that this is a very modern invention, only recently developed because of the the joint efforts of the former shinobi clan leader, Uzui Tengen, and Kocho Shinobu, the corps head medical expert.

Anyway thank you to everyone who commented suggestions for me to draw, I really enjoyed seeing all of the responses. I wasn’t expecting to get so many requests for new characters honestly?? But I’m very happy I did!

I want to try to do a request post at least once a week going forward.
