If I was remaking this blog w/ a coherent theme again in 2023 (which I’m not) it would likely be something like “why didn’t anyone tell me?” and focus on all of the advice, healing, reparenting, career, life skills, relationships, surviving post-child abuse, becoming a self-caring adult stuff I so clearly like to write about 😂 Then talking about the evils of capitalism and pro social justice stuff would still fit the theme seamlessly.

But ya know, I got here in 2012 so “call out culture” felt good somehow. Here’s to evolving.

I'm at my limit. goyische leftists on my dash refuse to learn about antisemitic microaggressions or even major forms of antisemitism. people I know in real life are on tumblr "unknowingly" repeating phrases that call for the extermination of all Jews.

I participate in brickspace pro-ceasefire pro-Palestinian activism to the best of my physical ability, and I'm fortunate that my brickspace allies generally know better than y'all, so I'm done engaging with any of this on tumblr.

I'm blocking and blacklisting tags and post contents involving Israel, Palestine, Holocaust, genocide, and more.

and my other favorite thing about running this blog is when a post breaks containment and people are just seeing it on art/aesthetic blogs and stop noticing my URL but are still like “...Hannibal Lecter did this”

Heyo! @aghhtdraws here! This is my Usagi Chronicles and ROTTMNT sideblog! I was considering for a few minutes that maybe I should not make a whole sideblog, but then figured, hey, it'll be easier to organize text posts too next to all my art posts, right??

Anyway, welcome to my new blog!! I will be posting both the arts from my twitter (mostly phonedoodles) and then maybe a bunch of random observations and musings about Usagi Chronicles in general. Maybe some SRTUC and ROTTMNT reblogs too, if I'm feeling like it. Haven't used tumblr that much in the past 2 years so some things I might have to re-aquaint myself with (like posting art. they changed something about that a year or more ago)

Cloaked in Green: Author's note

Hello 👋🏻 everyone!

I know it's been a hot minute since I've been active on this account. There has just been a lot going on.

The first thing is that I started my first semester of college this August and I have been so caught up in that.

The second thing is probably a lack of motivation? I started Cloaked in Green and this account in June of 2021 and it's now almost 2023 (☠️). My writing style has changed and is the story doesn't flow as well as I intended.

That being said I do plan on continuing this series, however I will be reuploading each chapter onto A03. Edited and revised. I will upload the links onto the corresponding posts here, but the previous chapter on a03 will be different, with scenes missing or added. It will be open for people/guest that don't have accounts to be able to read and leave comments, so there is no excuses for anyone not to be able to reread and understand the plot-line/story going forward.

I have so much planned for Aranea and the dwarves, and the FELLOWSHIP! I am planning on writing into Lord of the rings.

Reclaimed in Black will be posted after Cloaked in Green ends. As I have said earlier Cloaked in Green is a sort of fix-it fic, and will go away from canon; regarding character(s) deaths. The same applies to Reclaimed in Black.

I hope to see some of the same readers as I finish and go onto this next project and like always I hope your have a wonderful day! ❤️

Just putting this out there...we are done making confessions about who Norman Osborn should sleep with as well confessions about who is a better love interest than Peggy Carter. My partner on the blog made a few of them before realizing there were a couple hundred of them. I realize someone had a lot of time on their hands, but please don’t flood our confessions with ridiculousness. We don’t always catch everything, but after seeing so many of them, it’s getting a little ridiculous guys. A few of them will be put up, probably more than a few, but enough is enough.

soooo… i think it’s become obvious that this blog has turned into another addition to my unfinished adhd projects collection. i didn’t mean for this to happen but i keep forgetting to post and i’ve already started like 3 other projects (send help!) so i think it’s fair that everyone knows that i probably won’t be on here much anymore. i’m planning on leaving everything up still, but yeah… i’m sorry guys!!! i’ll probably find this blog again in a few months and start posting again for a few weeks and then wash, rinse, & repeat lol. love you all!!!

(For all reading this--I used to get a lot of messages like this, but it's been a while, so it's a good time to share now what I always shared back then: One of my biggest priorities for this blog is that it not negatively impact anyone's mental health or well being so I inherently understand that this blog isn't for everyone. Even though it's changed significantly since I stopped publishing submissions around 2019, it still has a LOT of ugliness I am reacting to, clearly. I don't really monitor my follower count or composition. Sure, I notice when I get a large volume of new followers in my notifications, but otherwise, I like to remain generally unaware of the details of my follower base. Folks NEVER need to apologize for unfollowing. In fact, I strongly prefer that anyone who can't follow for any reason go ahead and unfollow and please not tell me.......... for me, the telling me part is harder to deal w/ than the actual unfollowing, specifically when I start getting a flood of messages telling me this kind of thing.) TL;DR: freely follow/unfollow this blog at will because YOU matter to me and you don't need to tell me.

finally adding artist and gallery websites

Hi all! I’m going to start adding links to the websites of artists’ websites and/or the galleries that represent them, if they have them and I can find them. I plan to eventually go back and add this to earlier posts as well.

Because I use the “shuffle queue” function, new posts with these links will start popping up randomly among posts that don’t have it yet--though my plan is to start adding these links to queued posts before previously published posts, I have no concrete plans for when I’ll start doing this.

I had plans for a different system that I never implemented and no longer remember the details of, of which this (extremely unfinished) post was going to be a small part.

Note that because some contemporary artists frequently update their websites with only their latest work and gallery websites will often only feature work that is currently on view and/or available for sale, the sites linked may not have the image that I myself posted.

For older art pieces where the artists don’t have individual websites, I will try to link to whatever museum (if applicable) houses the piece I posted.

You are ALWAYS welcome to give me further information about a piece, whether that be the title, a correction to a typo, a date, a material, a link, or anything else!

Just wanna put this out there to my influx of new followers.

This blog isn’t dedicated to anything in particular and is my main place for screaming into the void. I post art of multiple fandoms (tho at the moment it’s Stranger Things but I have my Star Wars, Marvel stuff and various other things).

I do a lot of shipping. I do not get into shipping arguments and will delete any attempts at engaging in it with me.

I am 30 years old, so if you are under 18 be aware of that as I post my unfiltered thoughts and they can be, and will sometimes be 18+ in nature.
